Kate Beckinsale Knows How To Deal With The Paparazzi
Just ignore them!
Yes folks, it's that simple! Kate Beckinsale has found the solution to deal with the swarming paparazzi. Pretend they aren't there. The actress tells Access Hollywood,
"Maybe it’s a British thing. I sort of adopt a victim mentality in that I can’t do anything about it so it’s pointless throwing things and shouting.
"I just think, they’re going to wait at the bottom of your road and follow you places. Hopefully you’re not doing anything so spectacularly interesting like having your pants fall down, because that kind of thing tends to attract attention. It’s a part of the job that I tend not to think about that much."
Kate's daughter Lily has even begun ignoring the press. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
"It’s weird that my daughter’s got used to it. We tend to have a group of people following us when we do our Christmas shopping or something but we’ve all got quite good at blocking it out and pretending it’s not happening."
I think Britney Spears or Angelina Jolie's experience with the paparazzi is a bit different than Kate's experience - but I get what she's saying.

I would much rather hang out with her (and Lily!) than Angie or Britney though. And NOT because of the paps or lack thereof.
I firmly believe she calls the paps and tells them where she will be. Why else is she constantly being photographed and written about. Not like she is actively working now or promoting something.

I have to laugh when minor celebrities say things like ignore the paps or just enjoy the attention. It's one thing to have 6 or 7 photographers following you as opposed to 6 or 7 dozen.

Haha I love how she was dead on with the British stereotype :p haha. But you're right that she definitely doesn't get the same amount of pap attention that Britney gets!

she has been wearing them all year- trust me. i know. i've been crazy stalker-status trying to figure out what brand they are. i even have high-res pics and there's no visible brand/logo. UGH!

I have seen Victoria Beckham wear the same or similar ones. The brand might therefore be Victoria's own range,especially as Kate and Vic are pals.
I really don't think Kate B has quite the same pap attention as others, and probably the levels she gets can be coped with. Also the photos I see of her just seem to be her getting on with her daily business. I don't think the paps would have any interest in trying to provoke her to do something weird like they would with Brit.

i think its a great idea for her level of fame...they get their shots & you dont get as aggravated....its a bit scarier & not as practical for the more popular celebs.
