Where Are The Celebrities Partying For New Year's Eve?
This information will start to trickle in at a faster rate after Christmas. But for now, here are a few hotspots for celebrity sighting on New Year's Eve. Star Magazine recapped the following:
Shore Club, Miami: Guests at Shore Club's Skybar will ring in the New Years with a bang — or, with rapper Ron Browz ("Pop Champagne") playing the event, a pop! — in sunny Miami. Kristin Cavallari, Kellan Lutz and Robert Iler host. Pras of the Fugees is set to perform.
Delano, Miami: Hip-hop heavyweights The Roots will entertain the crowd at the Delano's Florida Room on the big night, while Janelle Monáe will belt out her tunes at a poolside performance at the hotel.
Gansevoort South, Miami: Chloë Sevigny is hosting a bash at the Gansevoort Hotel in South Beach, featuring a mini-concert by hip-hop heavyweight T.I.! Wilhelmina models will also be mingling with the crowd as they chow on STK's mini-burgers in the rooftop cabanas.
The Fontainebleau, Miami: The Fontainebleau will be party central on New Year's Eve, where Maroon 5's Adam Levine will rock out poolside while Diddy hosts a party inside at LIV nightclub. Chace Crawford is also expected at the bash, where he and other partygoers will sip Ciroc martinis garnished with 24k gold edible flakes.
Privé, Las Vegas: Denise Richards, Lance Bass and hip-hop icon DMC (from Run DMC) will usher in 2009 at the ritzy Vegas club. It's not often you'll get a chance to actually go "dancing with the stars," but you definitely will at Privé!
Mansion, Miami: Hot couple Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson will host SoBe Lifewater's New Year's Eve bash at Mansion Miami, where the theme will definitely be jungle-y! Partygoers may have to cut their way through the hanging vines and jungle greenery, while watching out for the flying lizard aerialists and body-painted dancers.
Privé, Miami: At Privé in South Beach, partygoers will have a very soothing start to their new year, as multi-platinum singer-songwriter John Legend will be performing at the lounge.

Doesn't anyone stay home and watch the ball drop. Hubby and always get invited to parties but we almost always decline and stay home. You would think we would stop being invited at some point. This year hubby has to work, bummer. We did go see a Neil Diamond concert back in 2000 for our New Years at the Pepsi Center, woooooo hooooooo.

Why would anyone stay home when there are so many fabulous parties and clubs to go to? There's nothing wrong with being social... its' the best day of the year.
