Celebrity Encounter With Brooke And Nick Hogan

The below email was waiting for me this morning from a dear friend of mine who is currently vacationing in Florida. Kyle signed on as a ghost writer when I had my second child in the summer of 2007. I was placed on hospital bedrest early on and I wasn’t sure if I would be allowed Internet connection for the few months I had left in my pregnancy. Kyle began writing for INO and saved my life the first few weeks after I brought Liam home. This was her first celebrity encounter as she lives in Chile and was kind enough to share it with me.

The story is LONG – but check out how the Hogan family experience below. It’s nice to hear that Brooke was a really sweet girl and not so surprising that Nick didn’t really interact with anyone. Click on the continue reading link to see the story.

Brooke Hogan was at the
mall in Tampa tonight! First she walked out of Gucci and went right by
us. I openly gawked at her but didn’t react quick enough to ask her
for a picture or anything and she went into Tiffany’s. So we went on
about our business and walked over to the Apple store since my iPod
needed to be fixed. When we came out we walked past Burberry and saw
her in there so we decided to wait outside until she came out and then
ask for a picture. So we were sitting outside the store and about 10
minutes later Hulk Hogan walked by, (with TOTALLY bloodshot eyes,
looking tired as hell, or I would’ve asked him for a picture too) and
went into Burberry to talk to Brooke.

We also saw this girl who kept
going in and coming out of the store and Seba asked me who she was. I
was like, I have no idea, but she looks kind of familiar, and then all
of a sudden I realized she was his new girlfriend. She’s really pretty
and does look a lot like Linda/Brooke. The man definitely has a type.

When Hulk walked into the store, everyone couldn’t stop staring. Since
we were sitting right outside Burberry we were watching the reactions
of everyone walking by and it was hilarious. People would glance in,
see him, and then all of a sudden realize who it was and go running
back to take pictures from outside the store or to just watch him for
a while. One woman went in to ask him for a picture but when she came
out she said that he covered up his face and said, "HAHA….no!" Then
Burberry stopped letting everyone come in.

I finally realized that
Nick was in there too. I hadn’t noticed him at first because he had
his sunglasses on the whole time…he didn’t take them off even for a
second.

So the Hogan family shopped, it looked like Brooke just bought
a few purses first from Gucci and then a couple from Burberry. When
they came out of the store I walked up to them and asked Brooke if she
would mind if we got a photo. She was really nice and said no problem,
and since Nick was standing there too, I asked if wanted to be in it
as well. So we took the picture, Nick didn’t say a word the whole
time, but Brooke was super polite and friendly.

Afterwards I said,
"Thanks, that was really nice of you," and she goes, "No problem, it
was nice to meet you." She’s also WAY more gorgeous in real life, her
body is amazing….really fit. And SO FREAKING TALL!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy
cow, I couldn’t believe it. I am 5’4", and I was wearing 4 inch
heels…look at the picture to see where I come up to on her.
RIDICULOUS. She was well over six feet tall in the heels she was
wearing.

And Hulk Hogan was surprisingly a lot shorter than he looks
on TV. Both Seba and I were really shocked that he wasn’t SO gigantic
like he seems.

Then we walked away and went to go meet a friend for dinner at the
Cheesecake Factory. We were waiting for our table and Hulk and his
girlfriend walked in. The wait was sort of long so they sat down, and
the whole time he looked really serious…they weren’t talking at all,
and after about five minutes just got up and left. Maybe they didn’t
want to wait. I was kind of surprised that the hostess didn’t give
them a table right away since everyone in the restaurant was oohing
and ahhing over them and I’m sure they were annoyed.

I live in Tampa and the mall is International Plaza. It’s Tampa’s upscale mall. Tons of designer stores. The reason Hulk wasn’t seated right away is probably because they aren’t Tampa royalty anymore. Ever since the accident, Tampa has kind of turned on them. Before the accident, everyone in town loved the family. After the accident, everyone was kind of disgusted with their behavior. They’ve lived here for YEARS and it’s no big deal to see them around town.

Why in the hell would you want a photo with these two ZEROS? They are disgusting and Nick, in particular, is a LOSER.

It is so funny that stumbled on this post. Today, my husband, sister and brother-in-law (they are in town from NC), headed over to Clearwater Beach for lunch at a local beach restaurant Frenchy’s for lunch. While waiting for our table, Linda and Nick Hogan waltzed right in. They got a table in the back of the restaurnt and most people really didn’t tend to notice them or bother them. Linda Hogan was in a bikini looking tired and old. My sister and I were commenting that we wondered where Brooke was (since she has publicly said she doesn’t really have anything to do with her mom). We guessed she was with her Dad; I guess they are all in town. Linda Hogan was just as tan as she looked on TV and her hair is a color blonde I have never seen before.
