Brad Pitt Has Settled Down
Superstar Brad Pitt is currently starring in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, a movie about a man who ages backwards. Yet Brad is aging forward, like the rest of us, and says he's enjoying the ride.
'Once you hit 40, you start reexamining the math of it all,' says the actor, who turned 45 on Dec. 18. So far, he indicates, the pluses and minuses are adding up just fine. 'I'll trade wisdom for youth any day,' Pitt says."
At the heart of Benjamin Button is a story about love that transcends age. Brad reflects on the nature of love and family in his own life.
'It's a tragedy in the sense that any love involves loss, and that's the risk you take,' Pitt responds. 'And the greater the love, the greater the loss. I certainly feel that now with the woman I'm with, and the children that I have. But whatever the course may be, this time together is extraordinary.'"

Brad says his life has changed a lot since having a family. (Any of us with children could have told him that ;)
'I had a whole other life and I got to experience a lot. And I probably got away with more than I should,' he says. 'And it kind of ran its course, you know, it kind of hit a dead end.' Fatherhood, he notes, is 'the direction I always thought I would go in. But not until, with Angie and it felt like a natural evolution, a natural direction.'"
The people around him, including Benjamin Button director David Fincher, who has known Brad for 15 years, can see the changes in Brad.
'[Pitt] has become comfortable with who he is,' both on set and off.
'I think a lot of it has to do with his family,' Fincher says. 'It's like he wants to cut to the chase and go at the thing, and get it and work it and play with it and then be done with it and live to act another day.'"
You do have to learn how to get things done at work so you can make it home to six kids!

The things he says in my opinion are great, I can see he is truly content in his life. I also think that some of the things he says are hurtful to his ex-wife....she may not say it in public, but it was understood when she called Angelina "uncool". I just think that is hurtful; no matter how many years have gone by, is hurtful to hear your ex-spouse say the things Brad and Angie have said. One thing is to have your spouse cheat, you pick up and go on. Another is to constantly read about it in every magazine. I really don't think Angelina and Brad take into consideration Jennifer's feelings, then again cheating spouses never do.
it's that "sensitivity chip" that he's missing. he can be a real cad.

I love the fact that BP feels the need to claim how much he loves AJ, and how great his family is. I think all this declarations are staged he has a movie to sell to the audience and the oscars voters (just like his girlfriend). Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that these two are not happy and in love with each other but they really strike me as mediawhores, it's pretty obvious they use the media whenever they can.
Lets not go to the fighting game again. Becasue JA declare her love for JM she got naked on the cover of magazine and did 3 magzine interviews and went so many shows that I lost count. Stars always give interviews and talk about their personal life when they promote a movie no body is exception of this. Brad did just like everybody else and tell us a bit about his life. Don't get offended when he does it. BTW I am happy he said what he said because he was accussed of for not defending his woman.
i have never heard of anyone accusing him of not defending angie. maybe, if she keeps her big mouth shut once in awhile, she wouldn't need defending. btw, what exactly does she need defending against anyway? brad is a fraction of a man and he deserves that thing he is with.

His movie tanked, their use of the media doesn't help with the poor box office showing. To most people they are fame whores spouting out what they think the public wants to hear. Brad and Angie are self-absorbed narcissists, who truly deserve each other.

Of course people magazine would say this. Remember these are the idiots that paid this pimping couple 14 million for baby pictures. In addition, to agreeing never to call them Brangelina in print. Can people really be viewed as objective when it comes to these whores? Christmas day box Marley and Me was No. 1 Pitt's Benjamin movie was not even in the top 5. So I don't see how it could have broken any records. People has no credibility, just like the Jolie Pitts.
People was quoting from Variety. Are they also not credible? Lets also check with www.boxofficemoho.com and www.boxoffice.com. Yep, they both confirm CCBB at #2. How about MSN and CNN? MSN reports the same and oddly, CNN references People. Why would a top new source like CNN link to a “corrupt” magazine like People?
Please give these two whores the oscars they so desparately want. This is just getting ridiculous. He tries so hard to sound deep and it is just hard to read. NOBODY, and I mean, NOBODY goes on and on about their private life the way these two do. It is the same thing in every interview. Nobody life can be as prefect as these two make themselves out to be. The people who try so hard to make their life seem so perfect are mainly the ones living in pure hell.

I agree. Too, another dead give away....look at their kids. You NEVER see pics of them smiling. Then compare to Violet Affleck...that kid is the happiest kid on the planet. I truly believe that the kids demeaner reflects on the home life. I've never been a fan of Brad or Angie. Jen was my favorite friend. I was PO'd when she married Brad. He's over rated. And as a woman whose first husband cheated on her, I do hold that against him and I don't apologize for it.

I think JA talk about more I am happy than brad and angie. You gona have to learn to accept the fact that they are happy and they creat a beautiful family and moved on. Just because you are interested to know about them you don't call them famewho*res because they are one of those couples we see rarely out. We didn't see their kids for months. Don't hate for nothing learn to move on.

i don't like the whole AJ BP thing. they should keep their private matters private. i don't want to hear that. want to see his movies...and don't care about how lucky he is. good for him. man...he's attractive...can get nearly every women he wants...and he's f'kn rich...and so on. i'm glad he's happy...but why is he promoting that instead of his movie...or with his movie...oh that sucks.
The difference between Brangie and the Hills crew is that the Hills crew are in it for the fame and publicity and they basically don't give a ****. These two however, want people to see them as profound humanitarians, when in fact they are worse than the Hills crew.
It always amazes me how people have one set of standards for Brad and Angelina and another set for all other celebrities. Why is Brad a mediawhore for promoting his film yet nobody has a problem with Jennifer Aniston and Tom Cruise for doing the same thing. The funny thing is that Jennifer and Tom have done a lot more tv and magazine interviews. For the past week Jennifer did almost every available day/night talk show. Most celebrities talk about their personal lives. It's rarely just about the movie. Tom and Nicole talk about their birth children all of the time, Jennifer talked about John Mayer, Brad, Angelina in most of her interviews. I have never heard Brad and Angelina say they had perfect lives. When they talk about the kids they usually say how difficult and stressful raising them is but it's something they wouldn't change. Hate them if you want but don't be so hypocritical about it.

Well I disagree with you Lisa. Everybody knows that TC is a desperate fame whore and a weirdo, you should take a look at all the posts about him most of them are really negative. That's the same for JA, I read zillion times here and there that she's just desperate, she's can't keep a man, she only exists because of the brangelina love triangle and yes that she's a fame whore too . People here are targeting Brangelina because this news is about them and also because they portray themselves like this humanitarian peoples with this great rainbow family. Of course they don't say that during interviews they pretend to be down to earth and extremely normal but we know it's not true. You can't be normal with this amount of money and fame.
Brad and Angie, as well as their fans, act as if these two are the first to have kids. They are praised and put on a pedestal for doing what others have done forever, produce and adopt children. They are constantly exposing every detail of their personal lives on people. It is tiresome.
Well as far I'm concerned I don't think these two are the biggest fame whores ever. But what I can't stand about them is the fact they complain about the paps following them all the time. They're just hypocritals. I mean when the medias report that their relashionship is on the rocks, you can see all of a sudden pics of them looking happy playing with their kids or all lovey dovey on some red carpet event . It's the same when they're promoting a movie, they play the picture perfect family card again, they could be way more private if they really wanted to, just look at Johnny Depp, he's hardly in the tabloids. To be fair JA is not really better she also pretends to be very private but at the time she can't help but babble about her ex during interviews. Or been pictures naked for some mags, on some beach with her bikini bod on display or looking head over heels in love with her boyfriend. I just think those three are fighting for attention.

So funny that people are judging Jen so bad for posing naked on GQ. Have you googled AJ's pictures? Then you would know that she posed naked more than once, showing even more skin. Anyway, that was just a thought but not the subject of this discussion. It's just funny to me that Brad Pitt is talking about how it could all end. He said that too while with Jen. He said that he doesn't believe someone can be in love with another person for so long. I am just wondering what will happen if these 2 break up. It will be the break up of the century/millenium... Well they're happy so good for them. As far as being famewhores, I think a lot of people in Hollywood are kinda famewhores, not just them. They all hate that their personal lives are displayed until they have a movie out then personal details just pop out everywhere.
