Woody Harrelson and his girlfriend Laura Louie of TWENTY years just got married this past Sunday in Maui. Several famous friends of Woody’s showed up to the small gathering to celebrate the union including Owen Wilson, Willie Nelson, Sean Penn and Alanis Morissette who sang at the ceremony.
The 47-year-old actor and Louie, 43, “were officially married yesterday on the island of Maui,” his rep tells PEOPLE.
Here’s a little tidbit of information… Laura was Woody’s assistant before he fell in love with her. The couple has three daughters, Makani Ravello, 2, Zoe Giordano, 12 and Denni Montana, 15.
Twenty YEARS! I would love to know why Woody and Laura decided now was the time to wed? What happened to change their minds? Either way, congratulations go out to the happy couple.

Maybe it was their kids’ wish to get married? I know that’s why Sting and Trudie Styler got married – because their kids kept pestering them to do so.
I hope they stay together, in Hollywood when couples marry they end up getting divorced…don’t know why.
20 Years?! That’s insane. I wonder why she stayed with him even though he didn’t want to commit long term.

With the rate of divorce I really dont think it means someone is more committed just because they walk down the aisle. They do have several children together so it sounds like they were pretty committed without the piece of paper.
