First of all, i luv lily’s voice….but for me this song doesn’t suit it. I luv luv luv The Fear and Smile, but for me this was too high pitched-shaky-squeaky for me. I wood luv to hear some more songs like the fear from her…pop songs (but not manufactured-fake voice stuff, good pop)
BBC One will play The Fear (edited version) in rotation in January. I’m pretty sure it will get a good rotation around London as Scott Mills, Jo Wiley and Annie Mac have agreed to play it. I like I could say, and Who ‘d of know just as much. The lady is a tramp wasn’t bad, lets just say she pulled it off.
This is the first time I´ve seen or heard her (being from Europe I have no idea who she is – seems to be a popstar in the US?) and in my opinion her voice is just average and she is not a really good singer. Take any young woman with an acceptable voice and a little singing practice and she will do better than that. The interpretation of the song is also a little uninspired and boring. Looks like someone participating in a talent show, not like a singer actually selling records.

Liked it! Too bad Lily Allen doesn’t just keep her mouth shut and sing. I’d prefer to not know about all her hard partying, her boobs always hanging out, her smoking…. She has a whole different persona while singing here.

This is always the case Katy Perry, Elton John, Cheryl Cole, the drummer from Jet and the tabloid newspapers that are always reminding us of what ”she” said’ and forgetting what others said first. Self defense is not hate it’s only self defense!As far as her boobs hanging out, well the paparazzi use every trick and angle to get that unsuspecting shot. Lily Allen snapped at a paparazzi for looking down her dress during the street fight(another example of self defense) And don’t be such a prude with a stick up your ass Anastasia! people do drugs (she doesn’t) people are alcoholics she isn’t Lily Allen has an audience, she has fans, You’ve been brainwash by the tabloids. Since when does there opinion matter?

Angel or not, her first album was totally awesome!! Winehouse’s last album was awesome too! Are they my role models? No. Are they on my ipod? Constantly.

She sold drugs (ecstasy) in Ibiza Spain to survive on her own when she was 15 years old. Did she use it? yes! but not in excess. she did not excel at selling it either. She watched the movie Trainspotting when she was 12, and said she would never use drugs in excess. She likes alcohol (no secret there) but that is also exaggerated by the papers. So your right! she’s no angel, but your wrong because I never said she was!
That is the first time Iv’ heard her sing, without using her accent! I like it although she seemed a bit winded at one point, it might have been a bit of nervousness. I have seen her perform live doing knock em out, and she didn’t miss a beat, I like her English accent better though. Its hard to understand why anyone would call that fake or mockney, she’s English shes not Britney Spears, that’s just splitting hairs!
Yes, everyone is entitled to an opinion but Lily has to learn that sometimes it would be better to think first and then speak!
Because, when someone goes out of they’re way to find an article about somebody you don’t like just to leave a negative comment, that is a sign of ignorance, sure you can say you’re entitled to your opinion, but opinions only matter when it’s important to that person! I on the other hand was asked, what you thought, now you have gone out of your way twice, to be rude, whereas I explained myself in my first comment using over 100 words with quite a few nice comments… and your asking me to explain it??? I could write down that you need a reading comprehension class, but it wouldn’t do any good because, would wouldn’t understand what it said!
Her voice is great, but this isn’t the right song or genre of music for it. She obviously has talent, and cleans up well. She is still young and probably will wake up one morning hating that she was so open about her life and troubles.
