A month or so ago, I was having dinner at my cousin’s house when he brought up 2012. According to the Mayan calendar, something DRASTIC is supposed to happen – either the end of the world, a spiritual awakening or both. Their calendar just STOPS. There are a ton of sites that break down what it is all suppose to mean and yes, I’ve been to them all.
The date December 21st, 2012 A.D. (184.108.40.206.0 in the Long Count), represents an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun), what that ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree. This is an event that has been coming to
resonance very slowly over thousands and thousands of years. It will come to resolution at exactly 11:11 am GMT.
So now we know the exact moment when something is set to go down. December 21st, 2012 at exactly 11:11am. Will you go to work that day? LOL!!
Like anything, a few days passed and I let it all go. What else can you do really? I mean, how can you compete with earthquakes, tsunamis and asteroids? Well, now John Cusak is starring in a movie about it and here I am again freaking out all over.
Take a look at the trailer and read some of the online sites dedicated to the story. What do you think about the whole thing? Please tell me I am crazy so I can let this all go again.
