Jennifer Love Hewitt Splits From Her Fiance
This is a sad start to 2009 for Jennifer Love Hewitt. The Ghost Whisperer star and her fiance, Ross McCall, have decided to end their engagement. They announced their engagement in November 2007 after dating for two years.
'They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement,' says
a source close to the couple. 'They're both really sad about this. Even
their friends are surprised; they seemed really happy. Everyone just
wants the best for both of them.' "
Just last October when Jennifer debuted her new look, she said part of the motivation for her weight loss was her upcoming wedding.
Reps for Jennifer and Ross had no comment.
Break-ups are always sad, but maybe it's for the best. It's better to realize something isn't working and call off the wedding than to go through with it and face more problems later.

Yeah, PH can be so fun and funny, but he really crosses the line with her and a couple of others. Just shows how insecure he is. IMHO, he ends up sounding jealous and pathetic. Gross.

i just read this on people.com and am so sad by the news. i really thought they'd get married. they seemed so good together. i do wish them the best, they seem like really well-grounded people.

A lot of people split after New Years or after a holiday. Good for her for realizing he wasn't the one instead of marrying the person you're dating. Sometime dating material and husband material are not the same thing.
Entertainment Tonight is saying that this is a rumour. I don't know which media outlet has got it right - People is usually pretty reliable though.

I thought she was busy planning her wedding. I agree better a breakup than a divorce. At least there are no little kiddies. Altho JLH seemed the type to do things in traditional order. I am shocked.

I think she gets freaked right before marriage. She has had breakups in the past when things get too serious. She may just like the idea of a wedding but marriage is too much. I like her, I hope she finds her mr. forever.
