These are down times for most people in the U.S., but the recession still hasn’t hit Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise. In just six months, Katie has blown through about $14 million dollars! She’s just doing her part to help the economy. 
The blow by blow is below:
- $13,987 on child care and taking Suri out over the last six months
- A trio of lofts in the building where Tom has owned a loft since 1985.
- $7,000 on installing gym equipment in their home.
- An estimated $7,315 (£5,000) on dining out at top restaurants such as brasserie Balthazar, and sushi restaurant Nobu and more than $17,000 (£11,700) on clothes for Holmes and Suri from shops like Hermes and Bonpoint.
So most of that $14 million looks like it was spent on real estate, and even the purchase of those lofts was denied by their rep. However, I definitely believe that the numbers for shopping and eating out look about right. Katie is spotted ALL THE TIME shopping at high end stores! And plus, dinner at nice places can really add up over time.
That is only $250 a week on food. The amount they eat out, in NYC is nothing. That is maybe twice? Another source said that was a “food” expenditure, so if that was groceries and eating out, they is maybe what most americans spend in a metro area, I would think. Do the teens live with them too? Two grand a month on daycare, again, is that a lot for a nanny in NYC?
why does she always wrap suri in that blanket? but yeah she’s a big spender. it’s part of her contract. lol

I trust CNN and People magazine than the NY Post who spread lies about this family because they refuse to do a sitdown interview with them.

Tom’s movie is a big big success and Katie’s play was good economy for New York. Winslet lost her part for a musical of Finding Neverland because TPTB prefer Katie Holmes. *** haters eat crow***
Mom and baby are darling. No doubt the people of New York embraced them & will miss them. This weekend is her last performance.

People are making this a bigger deal than it is. For some reason a lot of websites are leaving out that the apartments cost close to $13+ million. There are some idiot actresses who spend $17,000 shopping in one afternoon. Spending that much in 6 months isn’t very obscene.
I hate finger-pointing during hard times, besides, its THEIR money, they don’t owe the public like those wall street people nor the people who over spent with hugh credit card debt. they earned their money fair and square.

I know one thing though, most of his money goes to Scientology. Scientology is a fake “religious” organization. They are a cult disguise as a “church” most of Tom’s money goes to the”church”.
She has definitely spent WAY MORE than $17,000 on clothes for her and Suri in the past six months. She shops all the time and she is all about the high end names.
God Bless Her. She sure could contribute more if she would employ a stylist, hair stylist, and makeup artist. The poor girl looks so broken down. It is tragic.
