Good for her!
When Maria Menounos noticed that her purse had gone missing at the New Year's Eve party she was attending she went on the hunt to find out what had happened.
“She saw three shady guys standing near the bushes and crept toward them.”
Maria took matters into her own hands.
Glimpsing her own handbag in their shopping bags, Menounos swiped it
back from under the thieves’ noses. “She didn’t even tell security or
anyone. She just took it back,” said our spy.
That must have felt so GOOD. Getting robbed is such a sense of violation. And that would have been a really horrible way to start off 2009!

Glad it ended well, but what if one of them had a weapon? I wouldn't likely take that chance.

I lost my purse in a tim hortons when i was in high school, it's just dissapeared from under my seat. I was really upset, but I went back here a week later and someone had returned it, with all my money and even my diskman. I was so happy, still it didn't crawl out from under my seat lol. I"m glad she got her purse back, but that seems like it might have been a bit dangerous.
I agree with Tyra, it does sound made up.
Um, thats actually the stupidest most ridiculous thing i have heard. First of all, they could have had a gun, or any other weapon. Second, how does she know the three men couldnt have kidnapped her! If you are that rich let your stupid purse go and the cash in it. Id rather have my life..Jeez!

She's so stupid. Get the police/security. They could have stolen other people's purses/wallets.
