Rebecca Romijn Gives Birth To Twin Girls!

Rebecca Romijn Gives Birth To Twin Girls!

Congrats Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell! The couple welcomed healthy twin girls to the world this past weekend. While Howard Stern was the one who confirmed the news, there's no word on names or the exact date of birth of these little ones.

How exciting for them! I can't wait to see pictures. With parents like Rebecca and Jerry, these babies are sure to turn out BEAUTIFUL! They have good genes on their side. :)

*Update: The girls were born on December 28th. Their names are Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. What do you think?

It's a good thing those kids are going to be good looking, because with names like those, they'll need all the help they can get.

One's named after his brother and the other is indeed after Dolly Parton.

i am really not liking those names....sometimes 2 beautiful parents cancel out & make average looking babies...sometimes 2 average parents make gorgeous babies...you never can tell.

What is with three names a piece? How pretentious is that?

Why not just Dolly Rebecca? Or Charlie Tamara? What the F is up with adding the flower names. L.A.M.E.

Celebrites are such nimrods sometimes.

Also, Charlie is nice but Dolly is just plain mean and the fact that they sound so much a like will cause lots of confusion down the road.

On a side note; I love this couple and I thought they would go conventional on us. It would be so refreshing if a celebrity would just name their daugher/son: Kate or Sarah or Jack or William. WTF?!?

Lots of 'normal' people give their kids 3 names each.

I'm guessing you did - right?

I feel that way because it seems like lately, every star is doing it; like it is a hollywood trend or something. It's not enough that they shock the world with oddball names, but they give them more than one or two oddball names.

I do understand that sometimes there is a reason; perhaps you don't want to offend one grandma by picking one over the other so you pick both. But in the case of Jerry and Rebecca, since the 3rd names are flowers, it doesn't appear it was done to keep the grandma's happy.

OMG what crappy names, wat is it with Hollywood and Twins and crappy 'flowerpower' names... its like they try to outweird each other..... (but seriously..wat is it with all these twins???? )

I was going to say that Charlie is a normal name and then I realize that the baby is a girl....I know Charlie can be a girl name but it's way to boyish to me....if there was a letter sent to me sign Charlie' I would automatically think it's from a guy. Dolly isn't that bad but sound more like a name for a small dog or something. Well that's my opinion.

Whatever. So clique to give stupid names to your kids when your a celebrity-Im sure they will appreciate it when they're in like first grade. I know the parents are famous, but they are probably not going to be very famous by then. I mean Charlie?? Couldnt you give her a femme name and nickname her Charlie?? She going to grow up and feel like shes a boy trapped in a girls body!

I'm happy for them, but those names are the pits.

The only I don't like is Dolly because it reminds me of that cloned sheep.

NOTE TO CELEBRITIES: Naming you children is not like naming your pets or your childhood Cabbage Patch doll.

More celebrity parents trying to out do each other to see who can come up with the most ridculous names.

These names are pretty normal in comparison to some of the others, but Tulip? Come on.

I don't really like the name Dolly but Charlie is probably after Jerry's brother so maybe Dolly is family related. I like Charlie as a girls name - very cute. I also love the 2 middle name idea... I've always said that I'm going to do that!
