This must feel so uncomfortable!! Having conversations through print articles. Odds are after each interview, the pair had to call one another to give a heads up on what's to come.
Messy. Messy. Messy.
So what about the "uncool" comment? What does Brad Pitt have to say in response to his ex-wife's statement heard 'round the world? The actor gets how the media works and knows Jen was probably led into saying it.
“Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”
And what about when Jen said she didn't like hearing about Brad falling in love with Angie on the Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie set?
“What people don’t understand is that we filmed [‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’] for a year. “We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”
So, there was no cheating after all. I just can't keep up.
And do Jen and Brad still stay in contact? Yes they do!
We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and
me hers. I don't see how there cannot be [that]. That's life, man.

Oh please, he can spin it around for the media all he wants. I think it was pretty clear that they cheated. If not physically, mentally. He is a jerk any way you look at it.
Mental cheating, huh? Oh that's a good one. I'm pretty sure that if there was cheating, mental or otherwise, there were much deeper problems than cheating in the relationship. The cheating wasn't the problem--it was a symptom of the problem. Who knows what the problem WAS?!? Brad and Jen both seemed to move on to happy relationships and careers. Good for them. What I would like to know is how their careers would fare if they stopped talking about the Jen-Brad-Angie thing.
There are always problems in a relationship but when you go to work and find something more interesting than what you have home (or you just think that its more interesting), of course you come home with no intention of fixing the problems. I think that's exactly what happened! If Brad is guilty of something, he's guilty of the fact that he didn't want to fix the relationship that he was in. He thought he could find better...and he did.
Brad and Jen were separated for 6 months during the filming of Troy. A full year before MAMS filmed. They just waited to divorce until Friends contract was over.
Jen doesn't love Brad. They have nothing in common. Outside of premieres and red carpet--why were they never together.
I think she's glad he's gone. She did NOT want kids. She wanted a movie career.
Jen has what she wants, a number 1 movie, be happy for her. Do you really think she wants 6 kids over a career?
And for the record, Jen cheated on her fiance Tate Donavon with Pitt.
And Jen was with Vince Vaughn while Brad and her were separated, so during the separation Jen was with Vince and Brad was with Angie.
They both moved on before they told the public and their fans.

The cheating is the problem or he wouldn't have felt the need to defend Angie. And why now is he coming out with, why not weeks ago when Angelina made the statement that they fell in love on SET. I am sure Jen and Brad had problems what marriage don't. You don't just give up, marriage is forever(IMO). The pasture isn't always greener on the other side and I think Brad is realizing that now.

Cheating does start mentally and emotionally. It doesn't start with a penis and vagina. I don't for a minute believe that they didn't touch each other before they split either. You don't end a marriage because you think someone at work is nice. Brad's vows to Jen were basically, "I do, until something better comes along." He said he would be with her as long as they were still "growing". Huh? He never intended to be there forever. He is selfish. That is not a mature or respectful way to be in a marriage. Marriage means you stick it out through the tough times even when you see the hot guy at work. That is what committment is!
As for Hogelina, she did it before with Laura Dern. She has NO respect for other women or boundaries. If she sees it and likes it, she doesn't care who she hurts. Who are her girlfriends anyway? Why aren't there any women around her (besides her sexual escapes)? That says alot.

I think this interview with Brad served one main purpose; to end the "bermuda triangle" in the paps. Apparently not only most of the public, but they as well, as sick to death of this long dead cow being beatten. The only gain from continuing it in the paps is to SELL PAPS! The truth is, we can assume a lot of things about the whole situation, and in the end, those assumptions are based on the skewed "truth" the media reports. Nobody really knows what happened there except those who were involved. Drop it and move on. The media rehashes it because it sells mags. WE are the ones that keep it alive. We keep buying the paps crap and calling it news. Theres no news here. Just ancient history that we allow to be brought up again and again.

I'm going to have to go with Callie on her opion of the photos. To be shown raw, with a photographic technique that even accentuates the lines that life have put on your face...I appreciate that. I'm getting kind of sick of the airbrushed/photoshopped/plastic surgeried perfection that is passed off as reality.

Do you people actually read? He looks as he does because, at his request, you are seeing the true Brad. He requested a special camera lens be used that shows absolutely "everything".

Just because someone's moral values are not equivalent to your own does not necessarily make them a bad person. That's really not for us to determine. This sort of thing unfortunately happens in marriages every day and we can probably hold our ownselves responsible. I love these pictures. They're raw and they show him as he truly looks. Quite frankly, while I love the Brad splashing out of the ocean in a wet, white button down shirt... I digress, it is lovely to see him in this type of photo. I do get annoyed by the triangle of things - the press keeps it there, but then again those parties still comment on it to fuel the fire. Maybe if they stuck to a no comment attitude, this would've died long ago.
He spoke kindly of Jennifer in the interview, but I think what we really want is for one of them, when asked, to just wave it off and say "that was so londg ago and we're fine." End of comment.

Funny how when Jennifer talked about Brad and Angelina in every single interview while promoting M & M everybody said she has the right to do so. Brad makes a comment in 1 interview and he's satan. It's bizarre how people have different standards for Brad and Angelina than for everybody else in the world.
