Fergie & Josh Prepare For Their Special Day

The big day is drawing near for singer Fergie and her actor-fiance, Josh Duhamel! The couple are said to be marrying on January 10, and all of the pre-wedding activities are well underway, including the tradition of bachelor and bachelorette parties! Fergie and Josh are holding a joint one tonight.
'They wanted a more tame party and wanted to do it together.' But that
doesn't mean they aren't going to celebrate! 'She's getting plenty of
naughty gifts from all her girlfriends,' adds the insider."
A joint party certainly cuts down on the possibility of doing something in a drunken moment that could jeopardize your marriage before it even begins! I think it's cute to hold a joint party; what do you think?
As for the wedding itself, Fergie and Josh are reportedly trying to keep it as private as possible. They're working so hard at keeping it private that the guests don't even know the location yet! They have also been asked not to bring any cell phones or cameras.
'It is going to be a small, secluded ceremony,' another source tells E! News. 'Very private, just close friends and family.' "
And yet they still supposedly can't bring cameras or cell phones? I wonder if they'll be able to get all their relatives to comply with that?
Hopefully they'll have a beautiful wedding day!

Good friends of mine had separate bachelor/ette parties and also had a co-ed one that was really, really fun.
Stop lying cat lady...you have no friends!

I didn't realize how short she is compared to him. I wonder if they are going to sell the pics themselves and don't want anyone else to.
He is hot - she is NOT!
HOORAY! I love this couple! CONGRATS :)
If they wanted private so much why did they announced the date?

bachelor and bachelorette parties usually only bring trouble which isn't the wise thing to do when entering into a marriage. i think it's great they had a joint party.

1) If you can´t trust a person not to do something really stupid that would endanger your marriage if he/she attends a party (and maybe gets drunk and watches a striptease show) without you - you should definitely not marry that person.
2) If you can´t trust your wedding guests not to take pictures of your wedding and sell them to the media - you should not invite them at all. An invitation that forbids the guests to take a cell phone or camera with them (because they can´t be trusted...) is actually not an invatation - but an insult.

They're getting married on my birthday :o) I think joint parties is a very smart thing to do and I also think its shows a level of maturity! Honestly I don't need that party! The wedding and the rest of my life with my hubby would suit me fine. Now.... all I gotta do is find the hubby. Ha!
