Pictures From Joint Bachelor/ette Party For Josh Duhamel And Fergie

I'm curious - did anyone do a joint bachelor and bachelorette party when they were getting married? Sounds like a good idea, although I am sure the groom's male friends would disagree with me. :)

Fergie and Josh Duhamel decided to throw one bachelor/ette party instead of going their separate ways to wave goodbye to single life. The pictures are terrible because the paparazzi were all over the place. But the event took place in Dakota Lounge

Look at how many people are trying to get Fergie out the back after the party was over. Click on the last few thumbnails. She must have had a great time!! LOL

The couple is due to tie
the knot on January 10th in southern California. Can't wait to see that dress!!

I think the joint party is a great idea for a couple of reasons. I think that the numerous parties/showers leading up to weddings become a burden to many people around the bride and groom and it gets very expensive. I was thrown 2 showers and 2 jack and jills and a bachelorette party and, while very grateful for the intentions, I felt so guilty about it! So putting two of the things together makes it one less obligation for people unless you do both parties on the same night which works too! Also, I think the idea of the bachelor/ette parties being "one last single night" is a thing of the past because why would you be getting married if you wanted to let loose as a single person? It's one thing to have a girls or boy night out but I have seen some people do things they regret. At my bachelorette party we went to a bar and had alot of fun drinking, dancing, and playing little games but there were a couple other bridal parties there where the bride was completely hooching it up and being vulgar with strange men...it was awkward to watch and lines were definitely crossed. You have to wonder how those marriages are working out...

Can't wait to see her dress. I had a friend get married in Vegas. So we all traveled to Vegas. They had one party for both of them. Everybody still had fun. I think when you become engaged you basically lose your singlhood. So if you still you have wild oats to sow do it before then. We never had parties.

Is Josh wearing a table cloth around his neck?

We did the joint party and it was awesome! Our wedding party planned it at our friends place and we had no idea what they were planning. They had some cute friends, both male and female, making drinks for us. They had a beach theme, it was so much fun.

The best part was that there's no alcohol induced / single-friend induced temptations.

I would totally recommend it!

I'd never noticed her height before. She looks tiny here.

I don't know... I agree with a lot of the points made above about joint parties...But at the same time, I think it makes her look insecure...I'm assuming it was her idea?
