Details On Hilary Duff's New NBC Show
I am really rooting for Hilary Duff to make it big, while still keeping as grounded as she seems to be now...if those two things are even simultaneously possible in Hollywood. So there's good news on that front. Details on her new NBC contract have just come out, and it sounds like we have a hit show in the making.
On the heels of the pilot order for David E. Kelley's legal dramedy
"Legally Mad," the network has picked up for development "Barely
Legal," a half-hour comedy based on the true story of Kathleen Holtz,
who in November 2007 passed the notoriously difficult California bar at
age 18 to become the state's youngest lawyer.She would be
played by Hilary Duff, who has come on board as part of her talent deal
with the network and Universal Media Studios.
Now that's a plot line I can stand behind! I am so sick of reality shows, but shows that are based on real-life...now that's another story.
Does anyone else think this show sounds like it has the potential to be really good?

Hilary Duff is cute and classy and I think this could be a hit show if she really put some effort into her acting. Some of her work shows potential, but hopefully she won't overact like she tends to do with her shows/movies geared towards kiddos.
Congratulations to Hilary this role sounds absolutely amazing the plot itself is very interesting and I'm definitely eager to know more about it! This show definitely has the potential to be a hit if the show has other big celebrities besides Hilary. NBC really has to put time in promoting this show so everyone is informed about it!
Love her, but that is a serious scrolldown fug - the top is so cute - and the jean skirt works! BUT THEN THE LEGGINGS AND FRINGED BOOTS TAKE OVER!!!
I love Hilary Duff, and it'll be nice to see her acting again, I haven't seen her in anything lately.
WAIT! did you say NBC ?, Well this is cancelled.
Should have gone with FOX, ABC or CBS they would at least give the show a chance.
