Melissa George Leaving Grey's Anatomy
Sadie, we hardly knew ya. For those of you who are now completely confused (whether you watch Grey's Anatomy or not), Melissa George's character on Grey's Anatomy is Sadie. And Melissa confided to EW's Michael Ausiello that she is leaving the show.
'It was my choice,' the actress-slash-Golden Globe nominee (for In Treatment) confirmed to [Ausiello] at HBO's red-hot after-party, held poolside at the Beverly Hilton. 'My last day of work is Tuesday.' "
Although Melissa said she loved pretty much everyone on the show, she was ready to "do something else."
On the verge of a possible actor's strike, a working actor is voluntarily leaving a job? From one of the top-rated shows on TV?
Apparently, Ausiello's moles provided more information.
'Melissa's arc came to a natural end. Everyone at the show adores her. We're genuinely sad to see her go.'
'The character was cursed from Day One,' sniffs an ABC source. 'She was very difficult to root for.' "
I don't know if the character was cursed... maybe just crowded out with a too-large cast? Sadie was a complicated character who couldn't be accurately portrayed in just a few minutes. What do you Grey's Anatomy fans think?
Melissa told Ausiello she "won't [get] a big send-off, but it's really cool what they do." And Melissa seems to work pretty steadily, so I'm sure we'll see her in other things!

OH THANK GAWD!! I'm a big GA fan!! It seemed that they just wrote her character too fast too soon. It was hard for me to like that character.

Oh yes ! I have nothing against the actress, but the character was a stupid addition when the production decided to end the Hahn/Torres relationship. They were uncomfortable with a lesbian couple, and yet, there comes Sadie all sassy over Callie.

That's too bad she's leaving!!! I really liked her on the show and thought she brought some life in it. The whole meredith and SAdie past ,, were they lovers ,, bestfriends who had a fallen out????? That's too bad, but I hope to see her on something soon...
THAT SHOW ROCK'S..... RIGHT OFF A CLIFF! i use to like it in the beginning until i heard those famous lines from GREY Herself...." PICK ME, LOVE ME , WANT ME"! GOOD GOD that was the most pathetic thing I have every heard a women say EVER! the show became a real joke after that and some other incidents we all have possibly heard of. MAD TV use to make the funniest jokes about how pathetic this truly aweful show was. and that kathrine He-girl; she is a a sloppy mess. who made her the queen diva.... that's it there are too many DIVAS on the bad show. i feel bad for the writter/producer. she probably had an amazing show when she first wrote it, then she took it to the networks and they hacked at it until this piece of Sh*t was produced.
I WATCHED WHEN I HAVE "TRULY NOTHING ELSE TO WATCH or I'll watch the clock change until a better program comes on like DEXTER,DAMAGES,ENTOURAGE, LIPSTICK JUNGE ( I hope that stays on ..love that show soo much) more compelling then this crappy show. She's lucky she is living... so is the guy who plays Katherine he-girls friend or use to be BFF.
ohhhh! I forgot my all time favorite ......."NIP TUCK" This season started off nicely , with a plunging stab at your curiosity strings. GREAT SHOW, AWESOME TO WATCH ON ANY OCCASION. for that dirty, quilty pleasure ,fun fun show you may be looking to engage in; for the naughty in you.hehe

I love this show, but have not liked either of the new relationships they are trying to put with Callie...I also think they need to get rid of the whole ghost thing with Izzy. That's just too off the wall...I thought they were finally getting somewhere when they put Izzy with Alex! I think they need to let Denny go! As sweet as that pairing was, when he died they should have left it at that with maybe some dreams or something with Denny...but a ghost and intimacy with a ghost!!!!!! Come on... Maybe they should have never let Denny die in the first place even though that was one of the most touching episodes of the whole show...
If they want to bring Denny back so bad why don't they do like Dallas did when they realized it was a mistake they got rid of Bobby Ewing, and have Izzy suddenly wake up and Denny dying was actually all a bad dream and he was never dead! Either make it beievable or let her and Alex alone!
i like Melissa George and was hoping she'll be part of the ensemble and i had hoped they'd do more with the character but sadly they didn't. i am sad to see her go.
