She is SO beautiful. I mean, literally, every time I open up a magazine with Kate Winslet in it, or see pictures of her on the red carpet, I am FLOORED! She recently did a photo shoot and interview with InStyle Magazine for their Feb. issue.
As for being called a movie star, the actress says,
"Please don’t call me that. I don’t feel like a movie star in my life
at all, and I don’t particularly think I behave like one. I don’t have my own plane. I don’t
have a chef or a trainer. To me, you’re a movie star only during the
time when you’re at the Academy Awards or at an important glamorous
event. It’s very much a hat that you wear, and as soon as the event’s
over, the hat comes off. I’m back to being me and being Mummy, and
that’s my priority."

She is beautiful! Even though magazines are photoshopped I know she’s a natural beauty. It shines even more through her interviews. I hear about some people complaining that she keeps talking about being normal. And it can be annoying sometimes but I actually think it is positive. The way our society is right now with these vulnerable young girls, we could use someone like Kate to constantly speak out about being a normal person and staying true to herself. My hat goes off to you Kate!!
I love her! I love how she comes across… but I am sooo tired of that dress!!! Everyone has worn a dress like it but different color.. so worn out.. but she looks awesome, as usual!!

Is it me or is all Hollywood wearing those weird stretchy, shiny dresses made out of strips? They do make a great body though!
Indeed – she looks amazing, but who hasn’t worn that dress?? IIRC, either Heidi or Alessandra wore it in red to one of the Victoria’s Secret ribbon-cutting events, and Amanda Bynes wore that hot pink one to the Golden Globes. I know I’ve seen it on more celebs.
Better than that, I KNOW I saw that exact style dress at by local BEBE store a few months back. And I think it was less than $100…. (no I didn’t buy it, that’s still out of my price range)
I am sooooo glad that Kate Winslet is on the scene! She proves without a doubt that real actresses DO still exist!!! Without the PR hype, personal life of the tabloids and FOR SALE baby photo craze! She puts the skan k w hores to shame, HA!!! Next up is an Oscar!!!
