Blake Lively Will Only Wear Size Zero

I had a blind item up about this a few days ago and more than a few of you guys guessed that that the answer was Miley Cyrus. However, the blind item has been revealed and a couple people did get it right...Blake Lively is the answer!
Blake Lively allegedly refuses to wear anything but a size zero, causing the Gossip Girl costume department to cut the tags from larger-sized samples.
Maybe that's why she ended up taking so much heat for her Golden Globes Nina Ricci gown. She looked beautiful, but it was a little odd fitting.
I'm sure a lot of people will come on here and rag on her for this. But, can you imagine the pressure she's under? In Hollywood, being a size zero is part of what keeps you on the public radar.

She looks ridiculous in that small dress though! It makes her look bigger than she is. A proper fitting dress -- no matter what the actual number size is -- will always look better than one that is too small.

KissYourSuzy is 100% right! Blake would have looked so much better in a gown that fit properly. This one was pulling in all the wrong places and it looked like she couldn't sit down, sneeze or turn around without seams popping. I'm sure the pressure is horrible to be a female actress in this day & age, but wouldn't it be better to wear a larger size and land on the 'best dressed' list instead of the opposite one?losethatgirl blog
Funny that you mentioned the seams. I was sitting here wondering if she was actually able to sit down the whole night in fear of the dress ripping. She'll grow up eventually and realize that a proper fit is better than a size (hopefully!).

KissYourSuzy, you are correct, Blake has a very beautiful body, but that dress made her look chubby and she is not. She has hips and booty, a very curvacious body. I guess is true...ignorance is bliss.
Rent Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (the first one). She prances around in short shorts the whole time. I don't think skinny-skinny looks good entirely naked, but you're prolly a perve so you'd like anything. Plus she has the face of a reese monkey. I do love her hair.
how silly! wearing the right size always looks better than squeezing into a smaller size. besides, no one can see the label and sizes do vary! plus, we women vary! water weight and such..
maybe she should actually be a size zero than - if she chooses to be ignorrant to her own body size. please, hollywodd standards or not, you don't walk out of a dressing room in that and say it fits

It's not a flattering look to wear something too small. It actually makes you look bigger rather than smaller. I can't imagine having all of your bulges out there will keep you on the public radar either. Too bad she can't see that.

So true. Just as Jennifer Love Hewitt saying she's a size 4 or 6 doesn't make her that size. Wear what looks good on our body. Ignore the scale, ignore the dress size. Does it look good? Or does it make you look sloppy and like you have fat rolls?
She should have worn Spanx, and any form of magic underwear that really would have helped with her figure and it wouldn't have looked so bad.

I love to hate on celebs who fall flat on the beauty front (it's just me being jelly cuz they make me feel so bad about myself the rest of the time, so I feel entitled for some payback!)
Can't hate on Blake though, even though I'd like to. She looks beautiful no matter what the size in her clothes says. I hope she is able to be at peace with herself (and wear a more flattering dress next time!)

First of all, if you aren't a size zero, don't try to squeeze into one! This dress is clearly pulling around the hip region. Also, size is JUST A NUMBER! I wear a 4 in some clothes and a 10 in others!!!

Seriously - how crazy is sizing??? My closet ranges from a 6 to a 12, because every store/label has a different size.
That dress is way to small for her and looks cheap because the fit is so bad. If I were Nina Ricci I would be so mad for making my dress look bad like that.

You know, I was a size zero once...when I was a FETUS. Sheesh!! This is what's wrong with young girls, everything comes down to a number (weight, size, etc). It's sad really.

if she will only wear a size zero then she needs to stop eating. I agree with other posters...she ruined the look of the dress because she is way too big for it. She did look cheap. I also think she is really overrated. i think the other female actors on the show do a far better job than she does. I hate that she barely moves her lips when she talks, i almost have a hard time looking at her because it seems so ridiculous. Im definitely more of a "Blair" fan haha
I love blake...she is georgeous...and a giantist...very tall...and DEFINITLEY not a size zero...but this is halarious...like is she serious...if the size is cut out it is not a size zero and who cares...so young...I would totally cut all the sizes out if I were in charge...CRAZY....but I do understand because if I have to get something in a XL or a 12 or 14 I'm so not buying it...
oh and one more thing...the only thing funnier than this is when Rachel Ray reported that she is a size 4....HA....She is a size 4 alright....4 - teen...She looks and sounds likes she eats ALL that food she is cooking and then some.

Is she really a size 0?? I cant tell...I know she is very tall & that dress is ill fitted, but she looks to be at least a size 4, but more of a 6. If Nicole Ritchie is like a 00, how can Blake only be one size bigger? The difference between them seems staggering!

The dress doesn't look right on her because of the way that she's standing. If she had better posture, and a better pose even, the dress would look better. Looking at her body in these photos, sorry hon, she is NOT a size zero. Nice try though.
I'd rather rag on you than her for everyone deciding that the blind item revealed because some blog declared it after seeing her in one ill-fitting dress. Along with acting like any blind item is, of course, true. Why are we so quick to believe something because of one blind item followed by one bad dress?

NOT a 0. Impossible. I know what a size zero looks like. My best friend is her exact height, and is a model. She's just under a size two, and looks very very thin. Blake Lively can NOT be a 0.
It's funny how Blake can be in movies like Sisterhood and "share" a pair of jeans with the beautiful and bodacious America Ferrera and turn around and act like this. America has made a living (and earned awards) playing Betty and is respected for it. Strange how Blake can be so different in comparison. I'm not saying it's easy to see yourself differently as what the media and the fans want you to be, but she should look around at people like America who have a good head on their shoulders & look past the scrutiny.

As beautiful as she is, she doesn't look like a size zero and if you're not wearing the proper size then the outfit looks all wrong. There's nothing wrong with being bigger than a zero, im sure A LOT of people in hollywood are a zero but im sure there are just as many that aren't, she shouldn't lie to herself and others about that...thats just disrespectful to herself...she should love herself because she IS BEAUTIFUL!

I am truly hoping this is not true, because I think she's a true inspiration in the sense that she's clearly a size 4 or something, and still amazingly beautiful and famous and all that ... this is why she is one of my idols, and I'll be majorly let down if this is true. I've got to agree with other commenters, though - she would have looked so much better in a dress one size bigger. Proper fitting clothes make a person look slimmer, no matter their size.

She's not a size zero but that's a good thing. IMO she's got a great figure and a size zero is pretty much a coat rack. Waifs are so so lame.
If you notice in all the photos she keeps her hand over the top of that slit, whatcha wanna bet that seam had already pulled apart.
Look at the width of her hips and all the lumps. She's not a size zero and I'm pretty sure that dress isn't, either. I don't think they cut the "zero" out of the dress. I think they cut the "1" out. She looks like a size 10 (okay so now I'm just bein' plain ole catty).

what the hell? If it's true why?? Theres nothing wrong with being up from a size 0 and even though the dress looks tight here she looks like a sixe 10-12 (uk size) [so 6-8 us i think?] in real life. I don't really understand this post
That's just ridiculous. First off, the dress is way to tight, so she looks bigger than she actually is. Also, she's not a size 0. I'm thinner than she is (but my legs aren't as long), and I'm a size 2 or 4. I'm sorry, but I'm guessing Blake is really a size 6.
