He is a liar, he is even acting on the interview. Jeremy Piven didn’t want to continue so he made up a story with the help of a doctor. You all seem to forget these cleebrities have doctors on speed dial. Puhleez…he needs to set the record “straight” or else he will never get work again.
Ok, so I saw Speed the Plow on 12.12 and it was wonderful – he was in the show at this point, I believe his departure was the following week. My husband and I met him after the show, he was very nice and sweet. I have to say (and I mentioned after seeing him) that he did look rather pale. Maybe his story is legit, or maybe he has another health issue and does not want to share all of the details. I thought Diane Sawyer had a sarcastic tone during the interview and she completely lacked any sense of objectivity. I could also live without the pop ups from youtube. Very obnoxious! If most people were treated with the hostility that Jeremy Piven has been treated (regarding this issue) they would totally crumble. Such a BS double standard!
Hmm I’m torn…he did seem really fake during the interview, but diane sawyer WAS passive aggressively attacking him. I don’t know what to believe but i think that both sides should have done a little more research before they tried to win an argument.
If Jeremy Piven didn’t act the ass most of the time he’d probably have generated a bit more sympathy. JMHO
Piven is soooo lying and the interview proves it for me. I remember Terrence Howard complained how the schedule was grueling and how underpaid he was in reference to his Broadway gig. Perhaps, Piven felt the same and found a creative way to be let go of his contract.
