She makes a GAZILLION dollars a year as a model.Isn’t that enough for her? Maybe Kate Moss just wants something to fall back on as she gets older.
Word on the street is that Kate is hoping to start a group with her boyfriend Jaime Hince (a member of the Kills). She’s dabbled in singing here and there with her ex-boyfriend, Pete Doherty, but this time she’s serious. Jamie bought her a piano worth about $37,000 dollars and she wants to learn how to play.
"Kate can’t play a single note on the piano but Jamie has promised
her that he will teach her to play and they’ll form a duo together as
he did with his (The Kills) bandmate Alison Mosshart."She has
mentioned wanting to name it The Mossys for a laugh. It will be
completely different music, though, to his Kills stuff – something much
more romantic and ballad-based."
Well, they say that fashion and music go hand in hand…although that’s no guarantee that Kate can carry a tune. What do you think, will you give her music a chance or is Kate Moss as a singer a little hard to swallow?
What’s wrong with wanting more than just a model/fashion career? I am not keen on her voice but I have to say that she sings better than she speaks. Have you not noticed that it took years for adverts to appear on TV where she actually says something? There is a reason for it, LOL! ……. I think done up Kate Moss looks fabulous. When you look at other models “off stage” none of them look breathtaking.
Why not? She know all important music people in london. Recorded songs together with Pete and Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream(her ex-boyfriend, he has done more drunks then pete ever will b, they recorded 2 version of
“Some Velvet Morning”)…
she can pull it of. Bring in some guys from all the good bands that broke up over the last 25 years in london and she is in it.
Well, she has the skanky boyfriends and the occasional drug habit so why not the music career to round out the picture?losethatgirl blog
kate is definitely not a singer. but she’s a famous british face with a drug addict so maybe it’s in the cards!

She looks stoned in the main picture. She looks higher than a kite in all photos I have seen of her recently. Guess that is nothing new.
She knows and has gone out with enough talanted musicians to have lent something about music. She’s got the rock’n'roll attitude. Maybe she’ll come up with an album that isn’t half bad. And if Jamie Hince is helping her out, I’m sure it’ll be pretty good.

If they act they want to sing too, if they sing, they need to act, then they all need to have perfume & clothing lines on top of it all…it’s actually a little annoying to me. There are so many talented unknowns out there missing out on their chances because celebs are just continually recycled.
There is a song called “La belle est la bete” by Babyshambles [The band her ex, Pete Doherty plays in] and she sings some small parts in it. Her voice isn’t bad at all!
