Paris Hilton Is Not A Spoiled Airhead
Paris Hilton often seems to live up to a certain public perception we all have of her. But, she wants us all to know, what we see in the media is not who she really is.
"I think a lot of people have seen me on The Simple Life and think I'm a 'spoilt airhead.' But I was playing a character. The producers said they wanted Nicole and I just to be crazy and funny and say outlandish things. I'm a lot more serious and shy...and if I'm not out, having to
be, you know, 'on,' I'm at home just chilling and wearing sweat pants."
And in the same interview, she admits that she's not ready to jump back into a serious relationship.
"I'm always really hard to get with guys. There's a process they have to go through. I'm very old fashioned really and I'll make them have, like, a million dates before the get a kiss. People
are surprised because they think I've been through so many men, but
it's not true. I don't really talk to guys - apart from Benji, who I
was with in the past year.I'm not ready to move into another relationship. I think it'll be good for me to be alone and find out who I am. One day I'll find someone, but for now I don't want to be with anyone."
She keeps talking about how she's been with so few guys. Is she telling the truth, or is do all these quotes make you think she's trying too hard to change her image?
And of course, everybody has a hidden talent. Paris says she's actually an artist.
"I have a room in my house where I paint. I've been offered an exhibition, which I might do next year."

She might be reformed now, but she can't act like the past never happened. She's empty-headed and says whatever she can to get on people's good side. I seriously have such a hard time grappling with how I feel about her. I used to loathe her but then I softened a bit. I really go back and forth. Part of me thinks she's really a cunning business woman hiding under this ditzy public persona. Yet part of me still thinks she's a spoiled hotel heiress.

I don't know if she is smart or not but I certainly hope not. Stupid is not her fault but pretending to be to get fame and attention does a huge disservice to the little girls who might look up to her. Women need to teach girls that an education is the way to reach your goals... not flirting and sleeping your way to the top.
