Were you a Gilmore Girls fan?If so, have you missed Lauren Graham (Lorelai)?If so, then you’re in luck, because Lauren talked to EW’s Michael Ausiello about the possibility of a Gilmore Girls movie, her new role on Broadway, and her new ABC comedy.Unfortunately, a movie doesn’t seem to be in the works.
Mike, Gilmore Girls is over. [Laughs] You’ve got to move on.
‘It’s hard. I don’t know what we could give the fans that would satisfy
them…I
don’t know what the story would be. But as with everything I do I my
career, if something comes up that inspires me, then
I’ll consider it.‘[Gilmore Girls] didn’t end in the
way I think any of us would have liked — and that is a disappointment
for me as well. And a sadness, really. When the reruns come on now
I think about the path it took, and it makes me sad. I wish we would
have known it was the end when we shot the final episode, quite simply.
But we can’t go back and change that. And I’m not sure a movie would
help."

I love Lauren Graham but watching her in an interview gives me a headache.
Huuuuuuge fan of the show and Lauren…but I think you can’t easley repeat that aura show had with the movie. Anyway I guess I would watch it…
i LOVED Gilmore Girls!!!! i’m not sure if a movie would be able to pick back up where they left off and end it in a good way but i sure would watch it to find out. I do think if the make a movie the original writer should be the only one to do it once she left the show was over.l and i think if she ended the show it would of been a totally different story.

are they coming back with you season or what?…i still watch the reran..and for some reason every commercial says their having a new season on june 8 2009…whats up.
no what they mean by the new season june 8th 2009 is the new season for abc family if that makes sense, its not actually new but never been shown on that tv station, however it has been seen on the WB when the show was still new and still had new eposoides
what they could do in the movie is: have rory go and work on the campaign and stop in san francisco where Logan is and have them randomly run into each other while finding somewhere to eat and they decide to eat together. they talk about there lives since the break up. then logan mentions that he has a party to go to but he needs a date so rory voluntaries. they go and logan sees how rory is with his world and he realizes he is still in love with her! then when they are on the way back to rory’s hotel he tells her he still is in love with her. at first she is shocked but then she says that she wants to have dinner with him the next night to talk about it, he agrees. then rory goes inside and calls her mom and tells her about that night. then lorelai tells her that her and luke are back together and are getting married. next day: rory gets a job interview at the chronicle then that night at logan and rory’s dinner she gets a call…. she gets the job. back to the dinner: rory explains to logan that she wanted to marry him but she wasn’t ready she didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life and thats why she said no. then rory tells logan that she is now going to live in san francisco. he is happy for her. then he says…… what about us? then rory says im not sure we will figure it out. then logan kisses her. now back to stars hollow: now lorelai and sookie are trying to plan her and lukes wedding. then lane and michel comes to help. then she gets a call from rory and rory tells her about her dinner with logan. her mom says are you sure you want to get back with him after what he did to you he left you devastated. she tells her that she loves logan and now that she is going to live there, it all falls into place. she then tells lane and lane is so happy for her. then rory calls logan and asks if they can go to dinner. he says yes. they go to dinner and rory tells him she loves him and she is ready to go the next step. he says he is ready to. now they are boyfriend and girlfriend. rory moves into the house he bought and the night before they have to leave for lorelai’s wedding logan proposes again…….. rory says……YES! they leave for the wedding and when they get there they have everyone there the grandparents, lane and zach, sookie and jackson, michel, and the rest of the town at the reception rory and logan announce that they are getting married. fast forward one year later: rory and logan get married and happily ever after.
now this is just one girls opinion but this is how i pictured the ending movie of gilmore girls.
that’s a fine interpretation, HOWEVER, I still think that Rory should end up with Jess. Jess comes into town for Luke and Lorlai’s wedding, and they rekindle their relationship. It actually would be great and dramatic if she did run into Logan before the wedding, but then ultimately realizes that she was never really over Jess.

Logan & Rory are best suited for each other.
A movie would be great, I hope they come out with one.
I am with the story above: but you have to make it somewhat unpredictible.
I was so sad to see that Logan and Rory weren’t together when the series ended. Having them back together would be nice
i know, my idea was just something that came up on the top of my head. im a HUGE gilmore girls fan. i dont mind if rory ends up with logan or jess but jess will not happen. i know that for a fact! RORY AND LOGAN 4 EVER!!! logan and jess are both amazing guys! id be happy with either one!
Having read the various interviews with the cast, I think the series finished as it should’ve. As Alexis Bledel (Rory) mentioned in an MTV interview, the whole premise for the series was about Rory going to Chilton, and somehow finding a way to fund that. Which lead us to the grandparents, along with the general interaction with the towns-people in Stars Hollow.
The final episode left it all a little bit ‘hanging’: In that Luke and Loreli are sort of back together (where it goes from there is up to our imagination), Rory is working out her life, and the other incidental characters have their own lives to live.
For a change, it was more realisitic than a typical ‘drama’. Considering Rory had a string of ‘amazing’ good luck in her life, one little road bump (Logan leaving, not *really* having the career she wanted ie. Internship @ ‘The Times’) leaves it hanging in a true-to-life perspective.
Either case, a movie is the only way they could potential ‘wrap it all up’ (like they did with Firefly / Serenity) – but it’d have to be at least 2-3 years from where it all left off.

I love GG, but the last season was so bad. After Amy Sherman Palladino left, it went down hill even though Lauren Graham is awesome. I would only want to see a movie if ASP wrote it and ended things for her characters the way she wanted too.
I am a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan but they ended the series horribly. I’m surprised they let the writers go through with it. I wish they would pick up the series again and finish it differently. I’m not sure a movie would fix it but I would definitely go see it since I’m a HUGE fan.

OMG! WHAT A BORE FEST. SORRY THAT SHOW WAS ANNOYING! They sound like they were suffering from Tourette syndrome or was one step away from breaking out into a musical. Sorry , not my cup of tea…… There is truly something for everyone.

Didnt that show get canceled because it was terrible? She is a terrible actress, she has no credits to her name besides Bad Santa (which Billy Bob Thornton stole the show) and she is just some washed out tv actress… Nobody will go see this movie.
are you kidding??? this show had a HUGE fanbase. maybe it isnt your cup of tea, but if a movie was made it would be a success.
