Lady Gaga Gives Up Everything For Her Craft

Would you want to be a celebrity if this was the trade off? Doesn’t sound too appealing to me. Lady Gaga recently admitted that she’s had to give up having relationships, partying, and basically everything else in her life to be an artist.Â

“Ultimately, you have to give up everything for your craft. If you’re really serious about making music and being an artist as a full-time career, I would give up absolutely everything else and go for it.

“I don’t have relationships, I don’t really party anymore at all; I spend every breathing moment making music and designing for the show and holding rehearsals. It’s a bit psychotic.”

Is it worth it? Is this a deal you’d be willing to make?

I just love her orange skin and faux-tards! She is great!

I think it is worth it, it is better than working 9 to 5 and never get anywhere. I’m sure she’s not working 24/7, so later on she’ll have free time but if she wants to make it, she can’t take a brake now.

Why does she wear sunglasses everywhere??

Am I the only person in America that doesn’t get the draw to this girl? She isn’t doing anything that Deborah Harry or Madonna hasn’t already done.

There are tons of artist who have relationships and a career. Why can’t there be both? She’s so young though that it’s the perfect time to focus in on her career and building up her music portfolio. If she loves doing it then it’s really not a loss.

Does she really take herself this seriously or is this an act?
