Denial! Denial! Denial! Fox And Affleck Clear Up The Rumors

Two quick updates for INO readers:

  • Megan Fox is NOT taking over Angelina Jolie’s role in Tomb Raider. The actress is uninterested in following in Angie’s footsteps.
A spokesperson for the star says, “Megan is not involved in this movie.”
  • Casey Affleck says Joaquin Phoenix is the REAL DEAL! A rep for the actor INSISTS that the actor turned rapper has turned his back on the film industry. Full quote below:

I believe the transition from one career to another is never smooth. Unfortunately, Joaquin has had to make this transition in the spotlight of fame.”

“He comes from a musical family and won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for his portrayal of Johnny Cash. He intends to explore his musical interests despite speculative, negative or positive reactions.”

And so there you have it….

I still don’t believe him.

I’m happy to hear it was just rumors. I hate to think of Megan following after Angelina with anything. She needs to get away from the comparisons the way it is. :) I totally think the Joaquin thing is B.S.
