Britney Spears Won't Tour Without Her Babies
This is all starting to get a little hairy again.
Britney Spears was all set to go on tour and bring Jayden James and Sean Preston on the road with her. She and her father worked out an arrangement with Kevin Federline without the help of the lawyers.
The plan is to have homes in three bases -- New Jersey, New Orleans and
Los Angeles. Sean Preston and Jayden James would stay in one of these
three bases and mom would commute back and forth while doing concerts
in each region.And here's a fun fact. We've learned Britney
will pay Kevin in excess of $4,000 a week for each week she's on tour.
The way the deal goes... Brit would get K-Fed his own pad in each of
the three bases and he wouldn't even have to show up to get the money!
But, when Kevin's lawyers found out they were upset, thinking that Britney's father Jamie, had went behind their backs. They are now saying that they completely disagree with this plan, but won't mention why. And sources say that Britney will 100% cancel the tour if she can't bring her boys.
TMZ also reports that this puts their current custody deal at risk with the lawyers.
By the way, Britney now has close to 50/50 custody and the trio has
also worked out a long-term agreement, which would extend the
arrangement. That too, could be compromised.
UGH. Can't the lawyers just let it be since this is all in Britney, Kevin and the boys' best interest? If all parties are OK with the arrangement, that should be enough, right?

That makes perfect sense. I was wondering why the lawyers would butt in if it was ok with Kevin. They need their cut of Brits money.

The lawyers should only be invovled if an agreement cannot be reached between the parents. But Kevin is shady, so I would make sure they have something in writing per the agreement so it doesn't come back to h urt her. Personally, I do not think she should be touring as much as she planned anyway. She should have just done like a week of shows and then a few spots here and there. Too much could go wrong here.. I can feel it..

Seriously doubt Britney is close to 50/50 custody. She cannot take care of herself let alone kids
yes she's not close to 50/50 custody however she's close to seing them 50% of the time (which is more that a lot of divorced parents - so that's great). 3 days a week plus 1 or 2 overnights depending the weeks and sometimes more than 3 days. However it makes no difference for her boys how it is called : visitations or custody.
The agreement Kevin and Britney have reached seemed pretty good : the boys settle for a period in 3 places - one of them is their home, another is their mother hometown. that let just the third to be unknown but if they are with both mom and dad then it will not be unstable for them.
It's just too bad that a stupid lawyer thinks it's better to bring legal drama in that even if the parents find an agreement by their own.

I still think that Britney is shelling out too much money to Kevin and everyone else. I think the lawyers just wanted things to go through them so they would get paid to meet and discuss things. Greedy!!

Kevin has sole custody. It is not 50/50. Kevin might LET Britney may see them 50% of the time, but he has custody. I think she's just looking for an excuse to cancel the tour because otherwise this would have been worked out a long time ago.
*Sigh* Here we go again. Another Britney hater desperately reaching for an excuse to knock Britney down. It's really funny how if Britney went on with the tour without demanding the boys go with, you guys would say that she's being a bad mother for focusing on her career instead of her kids, but when Britney is being a good mom and refuses to go on tour if she can't bring her kids with, then she's a bad artist. She can't win can she. You're always gonna find something to complain about. It's like another fan said: If Britney found the cure for cancer, you people would find something wrong with it simply because she had something to do with it.

I really want to see her on tour, as I have already purchased tickets. However, I understand not wanting to be away from your children. Poor thing, such a tough situation with her right now. Two steps forward, five steps back. She just cant get a break. And someone is always dipping into her bank. So sad.

This is great news, it's really a step forward! That Brit *wants* her babies with her, and is willing to do this (home bases and commuting as well as providing a way for Kev to be with the kids too) says so much about her mental wellness. I applaud her and her willingness to go to such lengths to be with her kids and not be absent for however long her tour is. The fact it was done without lawyers is even better. Those greedy vultures need to take a flying leap.
If I were Britney I would get DNA tests done which prove that SP and JJ are not Kevin Federline's biological children.
I'm not saying that he is not the biological father, I'm sure he is ... but with Britney's money she can easily obtain results that say otherwise, then she could file for full custody!

I truly hope this doesn't all end in tears - but I think it may, unless Kevin Federline and Jamie Spears really start putting Britney, Sean Preston and Jayden James' needs above everything else - and that includes making money.
lol! i was going to say that even if he were not their father k-fed would keep them and all but this guy is such a douche sometimes that i would not bet on this one.
and by the way i sometimes wonder if he's really Jayden's father. The kid does not look like him at all... not like Preston and that other boy kevin had.
The lawyers should do what their client wants. If the lawyers are raising objections I'd question what Kev is up to, as all he needs to do is tell his lawyers this is what he wants, and it has been agreed. Why hasn't he done so? Could he be holding out for more cash, knowing the whole tour collapses without his agreement??
