Eddie Murphy Has Never Met His Daughter

This story breaks my heart for that poor little girl. Eddie Murphy has never met his own daughter, because he refuses to speak to Melanie Brown.
“To see the kid, he’d have to see the mother. Maybe when she’s older, Eddie will see Angel, but not now.”
Melanie is willing to put her differences aside in hopes that little Angel will grow up secure in the love of both her mother and her father.
“I want Angel to know she has two parents who love her so much.”
But, another source says,
“Mel’s a crazy woman. Eddie wants to stay far away from her.”
How awful. No matter how much Eddie dislikes Mel, he should think about what's best for his little girl!

She is just adorable. And i dont want to now how many men in this world have never seen their kids. And I guess she doesn't even need Mr. Murphy, because Melanie's husband is probably a better father than Eddie will ever be.

Eddie obviously has no feelings for the little girl. It's too bad, but you can't make him love her. He walked out on his wife and kids, what makes her think Eddie is going to be a loving father? He had to be forced into getting a paternity test and even then he barely acknowledged the little girl. I think all she can expect out of Eddie is money, and even then I'm sure he is balking at that.

i know the little girl is not at fault, but i remember Eddie Murphy said he was tricked into her pregnancy...something about she told him she was on birth control and a week later tells him she was already pregnant. i have no respect for women who do this, now SHE has to live with her decisions... sad thing is now there's a little girl in the middle of this.
Yeah she really tricked him. What did he do, slip and fall into it? He knows how babies are made. There's always the chance of pregnancy even with contraception. Should put a jimmy on it!

Eh - the baby is better off without him in her life if he's not interested in being involved. Mel's married - I'm sure her husband is fulfilling a fatherly role much more adequately than Eddie Murphy ever could/would.

This is sad beyond sad, there are soooo many ways that he could arrange to see his child without Mel being present.. He has tons of money, and can surely get a go between, so he does not have to see this woman,, and if she was so crazy, why did he sleep with her in the first place. smh
It's definitely very sad, however not at all surprizing. look back at some of his stand ups over the years...RAW comes to my head first although its super old, but Eddie Murphy has always had a very disrespectful attitude towards women.....just cuz he does disney movies now doesn't make him any more wholesome it just means he found a different outlet to make money.
I agree with Moreaces, he's got loads of money and just because he thinks Mel is crazy.. there are ways to see the little girl w/o seeing her mother. He just doesn't give a lick about HIS daughter, at least that's how it seems.
As far as him saying he was tricked into the pregnancy, saying she was on birth control and wasn't or whatever- he's not dumb. He knows how babies are made I'm sure, birth control is NEVER 100% anyway. Abstinence, that's what he needs to practice in my opinion.
The "Source" has the nerve to call Melanie Brown crazy. This on the heels of Eddie Murphy getting "married" and announcing his separation from his new wife in less than two weeks?!?
It makes no difference what a man feels for his child's mother, a MAN should love his child..
If this story is true, I definitely feel sorry for that beautiful little girl and will no longer be a fan of his.
It's stories like this that make you lose respect for a person and it is a shame because I like him as an actor. Just because he is a celebrity does not make him better than any of us, or give him permission to do these things.

COME ON!!! He slept with SCARY Spice, what did he expect!? If he wanted some more normal, he should have slept with BABY Spice. At least less scary and crazy. But then again, the most scary and crazy here is in fact Eddie..

I do feel bad for men who get stuck in situations that they had not planned on. Taking on the responsiblity of a child when you are not ready is hard, and I understand that could scare any man (or woman). However, Eddie has loads and loads of $$. What does he have to be scared of? Mel?? I mean, come on, he slept with her...she cant be THAT scary! Its a lame excuse, and he is a pig. The baby is better off without that negative infulence in her life.

You are so right - as if his disdain for Melanie has anything to do with this precious little girl! How tragic another daughter is going to grow up without a daddy. I'm sick of this shit. I bet he doesn't even pay a g/damn penny either in child support.
He is not a man he is a boy!!! I hope one day he wants to see her and she wants nothing to do with him!! I also blame his parents as the mother has backed him up..the apple obviously didnt fall far from the tree...Scum!!!
