Halle Berry & Gabriel Aubry Want A Sibling For Nahla
Maybe there's something to those pregnancy rumors for Halle Berry. Her boyfriend, and father of their daughter, Gabriel Aubry, revealed that he does not want Nahla to be an only child.
'She needs a sibling,' Aubry told PEOPLE... 'I think it's
important.I've never known anybody who's had a single child [and] I've always
been around big families,' adds Aubry, who comes from a family of eight
children. 'I believe in big families.' "
Is being an only child that unusual? I guess it really depends on where you come from! Gabriel says Halle is in agreement about having more children.
'She's okay with it,' he says. 'Absolutely.' "
I wonder if they've discussed specific numbers? Could this be the precursor to a formal announcement?
Well, I think it's great that Nahla will get at least a sibling, if her parents have their way! One thing we already know: this sibling will be gorgeous ;)

You have to remeber Gabriel's first lang is French. May be it didn't come across right what he meant. I'm sure all the people he grew up with had lots of brothers and sister like him. Montreal gets like -35 weather up there. What else is there to do in the winter when you're stuck in the house? Anyhoo, I wish Hal and Gabe all the luck in the world with this up and coming pregnancy. Because I have a feeling this will be Halle's last pregnancy. If they get more kids. It will be because they adopt.

good for them but I am so sick of Hollywood babies. Also this baby cult is annoying. Humans' ve had babies since the earliest of time, why there is a child cult in Hollywood simply eludes me. Have they got nothing else to talk about? Hollywood did not invent pregnancy, babies, adoptions. Actress' pregnancy issues seem to be like they are the only once who ever had children. Do you know i don't think I know anyone who I know for definite is an only child. Everyone I know well enough to know their family backgrounds have siblings, so I don't think he is necessarily living a sheltered life. I don't think the majority of celebs make a big deal out of having children - its us who do! Also whoever you are, being pregnant and having children is such exciting time, i think its natural that celebs do talk about it.

I can believe he didn't know any only children. French Canadians are mainly Catholic. And there are tons of Italians in Montreal as well. Also the more kids you had(In Quebec) the more money you got from the Government(Tax returns not welfare!) They did it mainly because it was hard to keep the population from moving to other Provinces. Nobody wanted to live in -35!! Look at Celine Dion she's one of 12! But I don't think Halle's gonna go there! LOL
But I will say this, my girlfriends always head for Montreal in the Summer because there are Gabriels EVERYWHERE!!! The men are Tall fit and HOT and the clubs are great! The ones that don't look like Gabriel look like Georges St. Pierre...but without the ears!!!

Halle only have one daughter. Halle say she was going to adopt Ericae (sp) benet daughter but since they relationship was over she ever did adopt his daughter. So get your information right. the only child halle have is with Gabriel A.
Halle only has one child. She had a step-daughter when she mqarried Eric Benet. She talked about adoption but never did. I'm sure Eric has found someone else in which case he wouldn't want to confuse things.
As for Janet. That is old gossip that makes the rounds every few years. She released a statement saying it's a lie. Some people just want it to be true so they keep it goin.
The deBarges denied that piece of gossip for the simple reason that they would have raised the kid if it were true. Not pass her of as the niece and the father have no contact with his own kid. And hallie only got one kid, she married a guy with a kid and was step-mom for a minute before he confessed to being a sex-addict and cheatin on her. Hallie tand the girl are are friends but not mom and daughter.

I totally agree Anon 9:20!! Not to sound grumpy or anything, but I would love to know when this whole celeb pregnancy/ baby obsession thing started & I would especially love to know when it's going to end.
Also celebs never seem to have one baby anymore, unless they physically cannot have more than one.

Yes, Halle never went through the adoption process with Eric's daughter India. Give it a rest about Janet--old news.
Personally, I really don't think they will really have any more kids regardless if they were seen coming out of the Westwood Fertility Clinic, the same one she got pregnant with Nahla. It was all over the internet and not many news sources didn't pick up on it--a) difficulty in getting pregnant by normal means and/or b) he really does hit for the other team on occasion, c) Nahla really is Eric's or someone else's and their just keeping up appearances.
I just think it's more delusional bs. Two dysfunctional people, we know Halle's story and Gabe grew in foster care for awhile when his mother couldn't take care of he and his seven siblings and went to live with his father when he was a teenager until he was 18.
I think Halle's just agreeing with what he says about wanting to have more kids so Nahla won't be an only child and she (Halle) won't have to deal with her fear of being alone and not being catered to. She doesn't want more kids with him. Doesn't want to live in Canada whether for vacations or permanently and even though I am not a big Eric fan (sorry Eric), she has never gotten over him and is still in love with him.
Both need to keep their business private, it's not helping Halle's career or what's left of her career. Revlon will drop her like a hot potato when they find the right person to replace her. Don't think her fragrance line is going to sell as well as Coty thinks either. Well, we all know about her films. Her days being on the A-list are numbered.
Aubry is not good for her career. The only thing he is good for is being a sperm donor (if it really is his). Nothing wrong with Halle being in an IR relationship dozens do it. But if they are really going to really keep pulling off this charade they really need to look like they belong together instead of the odd couple. Don't buy the crap about him being shy or hating the pappis--he should have known what he was getting into when he hooked up with the Queen of Melodrama who pimps herself with the tabloid media for need for attention. Lots of posters on other boards have alluded to if she spent pimping her private life out in the tabloid media she would actually be a tremendous actress.
Nothing wrong with Aubry if he's really straight. I am sure he has some good qualities and is willing to put up with Halle's bs up to this point. If they have more kids great as long as it's for the right reasons. Great if they really do spend more time in Quebec only if it's for the right reasons and truly want to protect her child. He's already got a place there I thought?
I don't know why they don't spend more time at his home in Miami, his modeling agency has an office down there. Halle can work from down there and only go to LA when she needs to i.e. some A-list event or visit her mother unless they move her to Florida.
Halle really needs to take a hard look at what she genuinely wants. Until then, she'll stay stuck and unhappy.
Bibi...long comment. Some truth to what you said. Oh so true about Aubry really probably only being a sperm donor and good for Halle's ego. Didn't she say when she wanted a child (on her terms) with whomever she was with at the time and if he stayed, he stayed and would ask a dime from them. I think she trapped Gabe into the deal to help further launch his career and his failed restaurant and probable failed music career. Of course, she's not going to ask Gabe for any money, he doesn't have as much as everyone thinks and Halle's been footing the bill for most of the stuff since they've been together. Believe the bit about both of them being dysfunctional.
Agree with the comments on the Janet-Debarge thing. Don't know if something was lost in the translation. Gabe speaks perfect English if you have ever heard him speak. As for the number of kids he would like to have, the number has been varied with other comments depending on which site you go to.
For 2:20...if you check your facts more on Google, etc. Halle hasn't had contact with India much since the divorce and has no relationship with her. Thank God, she was/has been raised by Eric's mother and his four sisters.

2:20 only said they were friends she didn't say anything about how much they see each other because she probably doesn't know. They could text once a year and still be friends, you don't know.

I went to High School with Gabriel. He is not gay but he was very shy/quiet and very sweet.
Bibi may have issues. But the part of the rumors the last time Halle was pregnant, someone on some site did mention the clinic and there was a rumor flying (not saying she did) because his friend worked in the building/clinic and there are pix on the internet of them leaving the clinic are true. The part of Gabe being in foster care and living with his father when he was a teenager has also been on the internet and even quoted by he and Halle both early on. The rest of her rant is just that. Don't have a clue as to what property either of them may still own.
