Hilary Duff Fires Back At Faye Dunaway On E!'s Daily 10
The E!'s Daily 10 show seems to be the new place for celebrity feuds! First Dennis Leary, now Hilary Duff. Hilary responds to screen legend Faye Dunaway's reported comment that Hilary is not a "real actress" on the show tonight.
I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don't even know who [Faye Dunaway] is, so you know... I think it was a little unnecessary but I might be mad if I looked like that now too."
Ouch!!! I agree with Hilary that it wasn't necessary for Faye to criticize her (assuming Faye actually said it), but Hilary, can't you show a little respect? Well, I guess you could argue that Faye started it.

Badly done on both parts, obviously. However... Hilary is 21... Of course she's going to say something stupid and defensive back. You'd expect a little bit more from a 68-year-old woman, IMO.
Hillary is pretty dumb... Faye was soooo gorgeous as Bonnie and even a lot of teens today know that. What a b-tch move on Duff's part to make fun of Faye's appearance!! Hillary will never be the actress Faye was.

You are taking things out of contex. Faye said this because it was relevant to the conversation she had. And she does have a right to judge talent of younger actors. Especially if ther is no talent at all for the role. But honestly people like Duff are not even actors they are fraud and impostors.

Wow! This doesn't sound like Hilary at all. However they were both a little out of line. The whole thing is a bit ridiculous. Faye has no right to say who the casting directors pick in the remake.

I saw a pic of them side by side on another blog, and agree: they do look alike! How funny. Faye has always been known to say exactly what she's thinking, it's really not that big of a deal.

okay first of all, it's pretty ironic that Hilary would admit her fans don't know who Faye Dunaway because that proves that her fans are probably tweens who know nothing about real cinema.

Hilary should repect her elders, no matter what they say about her...If she was so confident she wouldnt have needed to make such an arrogant comment to Faye's rude, but true statement. In her youth, Fayes beauty blew Hilary's face out of the water.
Hilary Duff can't act so I agree with Faye, but at the same time I always thought Faye was an overrated actress, she's done maybe three roles that I would say are good. Out of a whole career that could be chalked up to luck.
Probably a publicity stunt to drum up interest for the movie!

I don't think it is so much an attack on FD as it is on her HIDEOUS PLASTIC SURGERY. She is barely a shell of the beautiful woman she once was.
I do think they both acted poorly, and it would have been an opportunity for HD to shine, but still... Don't dish it out if you can't take it.

Faye never said anything about her looks. To be honest I didn't know Hilary still had fans. No one will look back at hilary and think about what a great actress she was, because no one will remember her. Team Faye!

Faye Dunaway attacked her without provocation. Hilary responded in kind. Team Hilary. HOnestly, I don't think Faye is all that great, or even WAS all that great to begin with. Now she looks like a muppet. When are women going to learn that being a grown-up includes keeping your biting little remarks to yourself? Shame on you for starting this, Faye!
Hillary should have kept her mouth shut. She shouldn't be taking shots at Faye Dunaway's looks. She looked like a HORSE not to long ago, before all the plastic surgery.
I think dunaway will have the last laugh when this disaster of a remake goes straight to dvd!
