Kelly Clarkson is facing rumors that she's a lesbian head on. She says she could never like girls, even though she thinks the lifestyle would actually be easier for her.

"I get that all the time. People are like,
'Are you secretly a lesbian? Because I'd really love it.' Lesbians
tell it to me all the time. I'm like, 'I'm glad it works for you
and I wish I liked women like that because oftentimes men are very hard
for me, but I happen to like boys.' I could never be a lesbian. I would
never want to date (someone like) myself, ever. I'm a crazy person. I
need some kind of stable, quiet man." 

Kelly says that dating her isn't easy at all.

"When I'm dating someone, it's almost like I'm
handing them this load that they have to bear. They have to read stuff
that maybe isn't so pleasant about me, and so on. So, they have to
have their own life, where they don't get wrapped up in my work.

I give (potential boyfriends) every out in the book. I'm like, 'You
know what, I'm probably not the girl...this isn't fun.' And I love
my job, honestly. Everyone I date will tell you I'm very upfront with
that.

If it comes down to touring or staying and hanging out, I’m gonna go tour. That’s where I am in my life, and I should be."

Choosing work over love doesn't necessarily sound like the most fun but as long as Kelly is happy, that's what matters. She sounds like she's in a good place.
