Chris Brown is currently under investigation for alleged domestic violence felony battery, police officials have confirmed.
The LAPD has confirmed Chis and an
unidentified woman were involved in a heated argument in Los Angeles
early on Sunday. The woman suffered visible injuries and identified the R&B singer as her attacker.

LAPD officer April Harding issued a statement after a 911 call reported
the disturbance:
"If police locate Brown, he’s subject to arrest."
Earlier on Saturday night (07Feb09), Brown and girlfriend Rihanna – who
were both scheduled to perform at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards on
Sunday (08Feb09) – attended music mogul Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy Gala in
Beverly Hills.
Both stars have since canceled their appearances at the big show.
A statement released on Sunday by Grammy bosses reads,
"We have just
been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual
Grammy Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us this evening."

WOAH. Whatever the facts are, this story is seriously shocking.
I am not surprised at Cris Brown. All these rap/hip hop stars and most sports figures are basically criminals who found an outlet to make money. Most still deal drugs and create fake labels that put out music, or participate in dog fights. Most of these people are barely educated and almost all come from slums and ghetto. Somebody is just milking them for money because that somebody makes more money on them while degrading the youth with all their idiotic musical creations. You cannot even go to a club, all the music is this rap/hip hop trash. And look at their faces. There is not an ounce of intellect there, the common denominator gets lower and lower while public is getting more and more acceptable of this garbage and refuse as art creation.
That is disturbing. I am so disappointed. This is by far my fave celebrity couple. They perform and always hang out together and always look so happy. Hard to believe something like that could happen.

Chris is in custody and has a bail of $50,000. Rihanna is being treated for a broken eye socket after he punched her during an argument. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME HE HAS HURT HER!! In a Bajan club once he slapped her for dancing with another man and while in Barbados he threw a brick at her Escalade. Chris grew up around violence so it is NO SUPRISE he has done the same thing.

YOU obviously do not know anything about rap. There is a lot of popular music out there where it is obvious that talentless people who know how to write a hook and put it to a catchy beat can become superstars. That is not the real rap. That’s just popular music that people listen to because they want to be part of a trend so they will settle for the simplified watered down version. The real rap is Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Papoose, Lauryn Hill, Young Jeezy . People who are lyrically gifted poets. A great rapper can draw a masterpiece with their words. A great rapper is intelligent, makes perceptive social commentary and original. By talking about something which you know nothing about and taking skewed observations to be facts makes
you sound like an idiot.
Anyway about this unfortunate incident. I think that Rihanna is the victim because if he had not hit her, she would have issued a statement clarifying that was not the case so that his reputation would not be tarnished. I hope if it is all true that she leaves him immediately, follows through with charges and sends him to jail. Maya Angelou has said “when someone shows you who they are; believe them.” It will always be tempting to say this was a big mistake and this isnt who he really is but some things you should just be incapable of doing and if you are not you have a deeply flawed character.
I really hope this is just trash, there’s two sides to every story so lets wait and see!! and if so…well is very sad, she will need to move and im sure she will!

It unfortunately is true. LAPD are searching for Brown and if is found, will be arrested and taken into custody. We don’t know if Rihanna was the subject of abuse but it is common for people who witnessed abuse (Chris witnessed his mother be abused by her boyfriend as a child) to repeat the cycle.
Chris Brown turned himself into the cops about 9:45 pm EST tonight (Sunday). Rihanna didn’t attend the Grammys due to a bruised face – definitely questionable. If she was the victim, she needs out of this relationship IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
