Law enforcement sources tell us even though the police report in the
Chris Brown arrest refers to assault with a deadly weapon, there was no
weapon involved in the alleged attack.

Rihanna has been CONFIRMED as the woman who filed the report against Chris Brown. The woman on file was named Robyn Fenty - and that's Rihanna's real name.
AAANNNNDD Chris assaulted her with a DEADLY weapon! No word on what that means just yet...

No, I mean I know that it happened etc. I'm saying that there are so many bs "details" about it that aren't even true - like the weapon, for example. It's best to just wait till the actual truth comes out before assuming that everything that's come out so far is true.

This is just sad, she is such a pretty woman and looks so strong and independant! how can something like this happen?? i also heard that he had assulted her before at a barbados night club back when they were vacationing! this is all coming out now, and if there is any truth to that story then she put her self in that position ( not that she deserved it ) but come on ladies this is old... when you see the first sigh move the hell on! loving your self should be a priority at all times no matter what!

I am completely shocked by this. They always looks so happy together. But, you never know what goes on behind closed doors. What could they have been fighting about that could have led to this? He doesn't even seem like the violent type. And, I can't believe he just left her there. It is so funny how someone can do something that just completely changes how you saw them and probably will ever see them.

I am not shocked at all...Lots of women everyday get assaulted by men they are in relationships with, just because they are celebs means nothing.
They could have also been drunk & things got out of control. Just proves my point again that we dont really know these people, just because they look nice, strong, sweet or whatever upfront doesnt mean anything.

Rihanna also grew up in a violent household. I remember she was talking about it on Oprah a while ago. Her parents would fight a lot and said she kept hoping they would divorce because it was so hard to live with that going on and trying to protect her younger siblings from it.
I hope this is false, but I doubt it is since he turned himself in and all that.
It's really sad but I hope this is the first and last time it will ever happen. I'm so proud that Rihanna stood up for herself and called the police. Many women don't and just let it continue.

When I first heard the story last night when I was watching the E! red carpet, I assumed it had to be Rihanna. Even though I'm not a fan of either, I felt bad. I mean this is horrible, I wondered why she didn't fight back, but now if there really was a weapon involved I understand why. The fact that Rihanna was left there alone where she probably doesn't even know the place is really scary. I also wonder why the heck he had a weapon and why so far away from their hotel!?

I saw a picture of those two together the next day after the charges were filed. I can't wait until the real story is out. It just seems like speculation and rumors up to this point.

Chris Brown is apparently trained in martial arts and, in many states, a person's body may be charged as a weapon if they are so trained (that's why black belts have to register or something so that the state knows... I don't know all the details)... so this may actually be sadder in that the weapon was his fists.

I was just thinking...if Rhianna came from an abusive home, she just might go back to him because that's what she's used to. Very sad. Hope that is not true about her going back to him.

I read on ppl that they left the hotel together after she reported him and he posted bail. i hope this isnt the case. I read a long time ago that her brother HATED chris brown and i was never sure why. i also read that he has freaked out on her and attacked her before in a club in barbados. unforgivable.
Many stories out there including: Rihanna accused him of checking out girls at a party, Rihanna gave Chris herpes, a drunken fight that escalated way too far, to a jealous rage and fight due to another man/woman being in the picture. And I heard that this isn't the first time this has happened... sad :(
Chris is innocent until proven guilty. He is facing criminal charges so it does not matter if Rihanna presses charges - the state will be "pressing" the charges. If Rihanna refuses to testify - the evidence will consist of photos of her injuries and testimony of police officers and hospital personnel. That may or may not be enough evidence to convict him.
Regardless - it is really horrible and we can just hope she stays away from him and he gets help.
