Hayden Christensen And Natalie Portman Voted Worst On Screen Couple

Hayden Christensen And Natalie Portman Voted Worst On Screen Couple

Neither Natalie Portman or Hayden Christenen are bad actors. But, they must just not have any chemistry together because they were just voted #1 as the worst on screen couple ever for Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

Also earning top honors we have:

  • 2. Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou in The DaVinci Code
  • 3. Young Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
  • 4. Pierce Brosnan and Linda Hamilton in Dante's Peak
  • 5. Ralph Fiennes and Jennifer Lopez in Maid in Manhattan
  • 6. Andy Garcia and Sofia Coppola in The Godfather: Part III
  • 7. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr. and Mrs. Smith
  • 8. Jennifer Connelly and Jared Leto in Requiem for a Dream
  • 9. Madonna and Sean Penn in Shanghai Surprise
  • 10. Ed Norton and Liv Tyler in the Incredible Hulk
  • 11. Will Farrell and Nicole Kidman in Bewitched
  • 12. Ben Affleck and Kate Beckinsale in Pearl Harbor
  • 13. Madonna and Adriano Giannini in Swept Away
  • 14. Adam Sandler and Kevin James in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry
  • 15. Anne Heche and Harrison Ford in Six Days, Seven Nights
  • 16. Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz in What Happens in Vegas
  • 17. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in You've Got Mail
  • 18. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in Gigle
  • 19. Katie Holmes and Christian Bale in Batman Begins
  • 20. Mark Wahlberg and Zoey Deschanel in The Happening

Poor Madonna and J-Lo making it on there twice!

Anyone in particular you think that shouldn't have made the list, or that was left off?

Aww that's a terrible list! I mean some of the couples definitely deserve to be there, but come on, Brangelina? Are you kidding me, that's the movie where they fell in love, everybody talked about how obvious it was when they watched the movie! What about Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan? That's such a classic movie-- they totally had chemistry. Pearl Harbor too, Ben Affleck and Kate Beckinsale totally had chemistry.

You beat me to it!! How could Brad and Angie and Tom and Meg ever be on this list ??

What about the Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore pairing a couple of years ago. I didn't see the movie, but I sensed an akwardness about the two of them. Did anyone see it? What did you think?

Brittany is so right, the movie was music and lyrics. Their chemistry was terrible!

Brangelina isn't supposed to be on the list, I could feel the tension between them!!

I agree with silvia: Brad and Angelina should not be on that list. I'm not a huge fan of either of them, but they had decent chemistry in Mr & Mrs Smith. Same with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan - they were adorable in You've Got Mail! So cute.

Ralph Fiennes and J Lo were very awkward in Maid in Manhattan. What an odd pairing.

Seriously, how old are some of these movies? I can't believe people are still talking about Gigle. As far as B/A, it is real easy to see something once it has been put in front of your face. People see what they want to see. If they hadn't hooked up, people wouldn't have thought twice about any 'chemistry' they had. The movie in itself was dumb and their affair, or rumored affair, is the only thing that made it a success. Otherwise, it would have been a major flop. Madonna and J.Lo are just terrible actors. PERIOD. Although, I did like J.Lo in Selena and Enough. Natalie kind of looks good bald. Not many women can rock the bald look.

ben girl that was true. they didn't have he and j.lo that is. But brad and Angie mr and mrs was the definination of chemstry. I remember what critics were saying about the chemistry. You just can't deny it. I wonder who are the voters team what is her name . They still do that thing after 5 years and how many men later?

Kiki - agree 100%, when i first saw mr & mrs smith i thought it was terrible, bad acting on both. I think people only see the "chemistry" because the movie was not out yet and they were already adopting a child together. Anyway, i think she is a terrible actress in movies but she can keep an act in real life.

I don't agree with most but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie? that's not ture at all... I thought they were great together!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie? What the hell?

Anonymous Anonymous said:

this list is pretty inaccurate. some of the couples had bad chemistry, but the majority of them were precious together on screen!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I thought Ben Afflect and Kate Beckinsale were GREAT in Pearl Harbor. Much bettre than Kate and Josh Hartnett! I really don't think either Kate or Ben could be bad with anyone, though.

How about that holiday movie Four Christmases with Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon. I love both the actors, but together there was absolutely NO chemistry.

this is more like a pairing than a couple.... will ferrell and zooey deschanel in elf. really weird.

Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan?! No way.

Like other commenters, I don't understand why Brad and Angelina are on this list. Everyone seems to agree that their chemistry was hot in that movie. I also thought Liv and Edward Norton, and Tom and Meg, were pretty great together. The rest of the list seems pretty accurate, though. I never thought Cate Blanchet and Brad Pitt paired well together on screen.

Such lame lists. I agree on Star Wars but Meg and Tom Hanks had many amazing films together. I dont like Brangelina but they were hot in the movie as well as Blanchett and Brad Pitt. I love Liv and Ed Norton in Hulk.
What a joke they prefer Maggie over Katie and Christian Bale. They should see the Batman and Hulk forums because they love Katie now and like Liv Tyler so much. Many polls say so too.
What about Jessica Alba who has no chemistry with anyone.

The scene with Andy Garcia & Sophia Coppola rolling little pasta balls in the kitchen is one of the most erotic in movie history!! It should have been me with the beautiful Sophia!!

I have to agree with the hayden and portman chemistry thing. Hayden was casted for the sake of his looks, in georges words, he thought they LOOKED good together. So in that sense it was looks for the sake of looks rather than whether or not the two actually clicked on screen and actual character development and story. Which they didn't have and there was virtually NO character development. Both had been wooden in their performances and contributed nothing to the actual movies. If the title of the movies didn't have the title Star Wars attached to them, these two preformances wouldn't have even made a ripple and I am sure wouldn't have made the same amount of money it took to actually film the thing. It's was really THAT bad and ruined the originals completely. Darth Vader became a villian that just needed a hug rather than an imposing, dark, ruthless and twisted figure he used to be. Seriously, people go around conventions HUGGING Darth Vaders now. AND HE HUGS THEM BACK! Not to mention that his status as villain is very much debatible now and he's fallen from his spot in the top evil villians category. Such a pathteic end to an iconic figure for the 70's generation. I'm just glad Im a 21st centery generation kid we've got realy kickass badasses popping up all over the place that really are badass.

I concur with Gigli,Star Wars,Swept Away,Maid in Manhattan,Connelly,Diaz and Ashton,Happening,Bewitched,Dante's Peak and DaVinci Code but the rest I love them as onscreen couples. My favorite right now is Ben Barnes and Popplewell in Narnia,I love Ruffalo and Witherspoon in Just Like Heaven and ofcourse Stewart and Pattinson in Twilight. The ones with no chemistry were Vartan and J-Lo in Monsters in Law,Cruise and Kidman in Eyes Wide Shut,Zeta Jones and Connery in Entrapment,Woody Allen and most of his leading ladies.LOL!!!! Hathaway no UST with Adrian Grody.
Of all the superhero romance I heart Reeves and Kidder,Holmes and Bale,Kidman and Kilmer,Pheiffer and Keaton,Liv Tyler and Norton, over the cringing Dunst and Maguire,Mendes and Cage,Alba and those Fantastic 4 guys,Bosworth and Routh were so-so.

They only got a few right like their number pick but so many are off. On lifetime right now they are showing You've Got Mail and I happen to love Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks. How can you not fall in love with them in Sleepless in Seattle? And Im down with the Holmester than Gyllenhaal in TDK. Ryan&Hanks as well as Holmes&Bale reminds us chemistry is not just about erotic heat but real helpings of friendship and sweetness. The fact that the people and media know Cruise is threatened of Bale and Holmes plus Eckhart onscreen was the major reason of her ditching Batman.
That also speaks of their chemistry to spark this kind of rumors.
Eckhart and Holmes sex scenes deleted in Thank you for Smoking ring a bell? The press and tabloids will juice up and scandalize TDK if Holmes was there. There was none of that with Maggie. In BB fans and malicious reporters ask Katie who she wants to be with Bale or Cruise or who does she wonna ride with? Bale on a Batmobile or Cruise on a motorcycle?
What do they expect Katie to answer. The Happening was not a romantic movie at all so Wahlberg and Deschanel were wrong picks.
Julia Roberts has many offbeat leading men like Brad Pitt,John Cusack and Mel Gibson. She had chemistry with Gere in Pretty Woman but that was gone in Runaway Bride.

Some should have been omitted out and instead put Shea and Megan Fox in Transformers,McAdams and Wilson in Wedding Crashers,MacDowell and Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral,Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst in ElizabethTown, Bloom and Eva Green in Kingdom of Heaven, Downey and Paltrow felt more like MoneyPenny and 007 than would be lovers on Iron Man, Matt Damon and Jolie in Good Shepherd,Alba and Iron Grufford on FF-4,Scarlett Johansson no chemistry in Nanny Diaries,The Prestige,The Spirit.

I thought Kevin James and Adam Sandler had fantastic chemistry!! That movie was freaking funny as heck.

Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks should not be on that list. They're so good together they did at least 3 movies together that I can recall. My favorite being Sleepless in Seattle. Its my favorite movie of all time, actually. They def should not be on that list. And I agree with most others that the chemistry between Brad and Angelina was most definitely there. So they shouldn't be on the list either.

the star wars couple voted down first of all, nods back and forth it was rated 13, they didn't want sexual situations in it because it was a children's film partly that's why they cut the violence from rated -17 in ROTS, and as far as attack of the clones, kids was watching this show. It's perfectly good explanation. i don't now who voted but if you notice some of other films of HC and NP, are very good chemistry but they was rated R. i also watched godfather three I had some nice hot scenes in it to.

So before everyone starts saying they was the worst couples on screen, they should re- think the age brackets. and rating also I agree the Bragelina no way lack of chemistry please? If people don't like the film they shouldn't watch it!
