Marisa Miller For Cosmopolitan Magazine

Sexy supermodel Marisa Miller graces the cover of Cosmo this month and reveals her secrets for getting into shape. She's someone to listen to considering she's been a Sports Illustrated model, a Victoria's Secret angel and was named by Maxim as one of the Sexiest Women on the Planet. Did I mention she is only 30?
Not really a surprise in the reveal... she works out. But Marisa also admitted that she doesn't deprive herself of a good meal.
"I don't starve myself. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have an appetite. I'd much rather work out and not diet than not work out and have to diet. A lot of models don't eat and smoke cigarettes all day because they don't work out."
To read the rest of her fitness tricks, you are going to have to buy the magazine. But I've finally come to the realization that there is no magic pill... and there are no tricks. Eat right, stay active... that's pretty much the entire industry in a nutshell. Although, truth be told, really wouldn't mind that magic pill...

I highly doubt that her apetite is as big as she says it is. There is no way you can be as thin as she is and have a normal apetite no matter how much you work out.

I believe her. I think if you have the genetic disposition to be slim, you can eat whatever you want, and stay thin by exercise. I work out 5X a week, an hour each time, and I can eat anything, in any amount without worrying about weight gain. I'm not saying everyone can do it, but if it's in your genes, it's do-able.

She has a great body.. I work out 20 min/everyday so that I can eat what I want and not gain.. but to lose weight, I'd probably need to do a bit more.
i work out 4x a week and i watch what i eat during the week. i treat myself on the weekends without pigging out. there's no secret to being slender and healthy.
i starve myself *and* workout.
Ugh Im the complete opposite. I HATE to work out so I watch what I eat the majority of the week. I dont diet at all I just watch my portions and get my daily servings of fruit and veggies. On the weekends I splurge sometimes but this method of just keeping an eye on what I eat has always worked for me.
Those boobs are so not real!Course she can be as thin as a stick since she stuffs her cleavage with silicone.

I never go over 1000 calories a day and never over 15 grams of fat, and have been a size 2 for the past 25 years. I'm old, so that's a accomplisment. lol

Personally, I believe very few people are born slim with specific genes that make them that way, I think everyone has it in them to look amazing, thin people who we think are "naturally" thin have very different relationships with food.....She is right, as long as you work out enough, which I would guess would probably be more than 30 min a few times a week, more like 60-90 min/5 or 6 days a week, including cardio & strength training you can stay slim...Lots of thin people say they eat like a horse & have big appetites & dont diet, but their meals consist mainly of balanced healthy foods. Its just her lifestyle, so she doesnt consider it a diet....She is clearly not scarfing down on fast food & sweets, she is eating appropriate portions of good food & exercising, it works. Now as far as her face goes, that is odd, she looks a lot older than 30, for someone who doesnt smoke, she looks hard for her age. Maybe all the sun from posing in bikini's?
I came to the realization long ago that I have to work out ALOT if I want to remain thin because hell would probably freeze over before I could bring myself to give up junk food. Although now that I don't eat meat anymore, I can eat like twice as much food, work out a little less,AND stay thin. Life is good!
