Nicollette Sheridan Leaving Desperate Housewives!
I just received this via email:
Breaking News: ABC confirms exclusively to TV Guide Magazine that "Desperate Housewives" character Edie Britt will be LEAVING Wisteria Lane.
Is this a play on words?? Meaning Nicollete Sheridan is moving OFF of Wisteria Lane but will remain on the show? Or does it mean that Edie Britt will no longer be a desperate housewife???

I always thought she'd either get killed by her creepy husband, or he would hurt her and officially be arrested. I can't imagine any other way that Dave would remain on the show without him being thrown off by doing something horrendous AND getting caught...
Nicolette is starting to show her age, she looks like a 80 yr old hot grandma; her body still looks good though

I don't think she will really be missed, all they need to do is make her character have an accident put her in bandages and when they come off there is a new actress in the part.
Won't miss her, I don't think she is a major character anyways. But I don't think she will be off the show for good.
Next project? Seriously I didn't even know who she was until she started playing in this show!!

I thought she was planning on leaving a couple seasons ago. I don't watch the show very often these days, but even in the beginning the show was centered around Gabby, Susan, Brie and the one with all the kids. Edie wasn't really a part of that main core.

What next project? Dancing With The Stars or something equally as humiliating? She is a fool to leave a good paying gig...Unless she was fired....A popular tv series is probably about as good she can get in Hollywood at her age, unless she plans on retiring. She isnt old by everyday standards, of course, but in Hollywood she is bordering on ancient, having a great body isnt enough to save her, esp. since she isnt a great actress to begin with...C'mon now, she is no Michelle Pffeifer.
