Christina Aguilera Picks Up New Sounds For Upcoming Album
First Duffy wants to sound like Christina Aguilera - and now Christina Aguilera wants to sound more synthesized.
Rumor has it that Christina has signed on UK Rockers Ladytron to help shape the new mom's vocal style for her upcoming album. Keyboardist Daniel Hunt says,
"We first heard that we were one of Christina’s favorite
bands last summer. We were chuffed. So we went over to L.A. to meet her
in December where she identified the type of Ladytron songs that she
liked.
"We were impressed because she had a real deep knowledge of our music -
album tracks, not just the singles. She’s an absolutely amazing singer
but one of the things she talked about was working with a softer vocal
sound, so I think the stuff we do will feature simpler melodies."
What about a collaboration? You never know!
"We
haven’t discussed performing together but I’d love for us to do
something - maybe be her backing band for a show or two."
This just might turn out to be amazing. Can't wait to hear the first single.

This will be an interesting style for her to explore. I hope she learns not to play with her voice too much. It gets very irritating when she screams out "oooh yeah oooh oooh yeah yeah yeah" in every single song of hers. Less is more, Christina.

Whyyyyyyyyyyy does her, I mean "the" hair always look like that now? Didn't she see how the press and society SLAMMED Britney for looking like this? At least curl the ends under or something! Wait... will it even do that?
why would she want to sing softer. she has such a strong beautiful voice. she should use it. i love watching her perform when she really uses her vocals to the max.
