Tom Cruise And Denzel Washington To Compete With Bourne Franchise

Well, here’s some exciting news, if you’re into action flicks! Denzel Washington and Tom Cruise are teaming up for a new movie series, which is meant to compete with the Bourne franchise.

The pair will play rival spies who team up to take on an evil
organisation in The Matarese Circle, which is based on author Robert
Ludlum’s book of the same name.

Robert Ludlum also wrote the Bourne books.

Do you think Tom and Denzel still have what it takes to carry off this kind of movie? Or would you be more interested if the casting was different?

Can’t wait to see Cruise ! Awesome Denzel, this is going to be a great movie. Stop hating on Tom u judgemental people

I’m not crazy about Tom as a person, but he is a fine actor. Denzel is amazing. I can’t think of a single movie of his that I haven’t loved (though I admit that there are a number I haven’t gotten to yet). David Cronenberg is kinda out-of-this-world himself. It’ll be good.

Is this for real? I can’t see Denzel working with Tom,

  5. AMindOfMyOwn says:

I will not watch any Tom Cruise movie, at the theater or on tv, and whether “anonymous” approves or not, I couldn’t care less.

I never liked TC. When he lashed out about Brooke Shields for her use of medication for ppd. THAT WAS IT! I have a deep disdain for the CULT that he supports fully, he is entitled to that right. Just like I am entitled to my right to not support him or his CULT. I will NEVER give a dime of my hard earned money to him or his CULT.

Ugh I cannot stand Tom Cruise. And anyways, nothing can beat the Bourne movies!

and the blush- he looks like he is trying to do a covergirl commercial

  10. Tom AND Denzel? Hello badass tag team!

Denzel is adequate, but the inclusion of Cruise just kills it for me. I probably wouldn’t be interested in sitting through it unless it was the only thing on TV that night… Certainly ain’t going to a theater for it.

  12. sandyu says:

agree..cruise is a movie killer for me

Cruise is a killer for me too. Not sure about Denzel, though he really did a great villain job at Training Day.

But even if they do team up, no one cann beat The Bourne franchise — not even James Bond franchise. Why would Tom Cruise think they can even come up to par with Bourne.

I won’t watch any more Tom Cruise movies- has the public really already forgotten how crazy he is?!

Double hell no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tom Cruise is a total has-been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNLESS – they’re making an over-the-hill spies movie.

Denzel and Cronenberg seems like a good team, they should ditch the idea of signing Crazy Cruise though. That man can’t even act “straight”, and the memory of his antics – standing up for the fascist cult he calls religion – doesn’t help either.

I think this movie would be a GREAT idea. The only thing that irks me is the amount of judgmental people that decided to post (and those following the same line of thought). Judge others, and they will judge you.

I think it’s high time that people realize that Tom’s just a guy who is loving life. He’s done NOTHING to make people believe he’s “insane” and should be ignored. Why, because he couch jumped on Oprah because he was so in love with someone he should be pushed from sight? Enough already.
