Halle Berry Turns To Crime

… but only for a movie role!(Things aren’t bad enough to affect her that much, I’m sure!)Halle Berry has agreed to star in the movie Who Is Doris Payne, which is based on the experiences of a real life international jewel thief who stole for five decades.

The real Doris Payne is a true-life career criminal,
who would dress up in fancy clothes and steal high-priced jewelry in
broad daylight while stores were open. Her elegant appearance served as
a disguise, allowing her to pluck items right from under the clerk’s
nose. Her last brush with the law was in 2005, when she was 75, after
she stole a $36,000 diamond ring from Neiman Marcus."

Can you imagine being the jewelry store employee who had to confront a 75-year-old woman for suspected theft? It sounds like an interesting project!Would you go see it?

I think this movie is going to be good. And it will be nice to see Halle glammed up in a movie again.

Ooh this sounds like a good movie. I’m surprised Winona Ryder isn’t starring in it.

sorry, she can’t act….her oscar was nominal. pretty, but seems like uninteresting person.

Halle is not a box office draw on any level, so this one will be a flop. She can’t do action, drama, or pretty much anything but play a convincing crack head. Maybe it’s because deep down she is a little cracked out, not on drugs but mentally. She is a very beautiful woman, but there is just something off about her.
