Solange Knowles Hospitalized After Collapse
Solange Knowles has been admitted to hospital after she collapsed from taking too many flu pills while on a flight out of New York Tuesday night.
Beyonce's younger sister was treated by medics after taking the capsules onboard a plane and suffering an adverse reaction to the medication.
She twittered during the entire flight and subscribers could tell that something was wrong. Three hours into the trip, her messages suddenly stopped after she complained of feeling sleepy - and three hours later she logged back on to the website to tell fans she was in the hospital. Here are her tweets below:
Turns out she took too many NyQuil pills.
"I took a nyquil and i think maybe im getting high off it because im not sleeping. maybe i should close my eyes..."
Minutes later she added,
"think im certified loosing (sic) it on nyquil. going to sleep before i start freestyling on the plane... omg (Oh my God) i didnt know nyquil could do this to you. i took the pills tho. cant stomach cough syrup. trying to be proactive on this flight."
She then added:
"Never taking nyquil again. I feel so weird."
Her last message after she woke up in the hospital read:
"Woaah...... How'd I end up in the hospital? Woke up to 8 random people over me, laid out on the floor in baggage claim!... Guess I passed out! Scary. Hooked up to IV now . Apparantly I'm super dehydrated.
"I've never passed out before. S**t was like the movies. People standing over me saying 'hello'... My mom is the best. LOL (laugh out loud). She's like 'Ain't nothing wrong with this girl, she need some water and rest... Pull up the car!' LOL
"I'm like still in shock. I've never passed out before. Think it was the nyquil too. I felt weird when I woke up. This has been the day from hell. I'm done with the second IV. I just want to get in the bed and lay with (son) Julez. That's all I want."
The singer later confirmed she had been released from hospital following treatment. I had no idea Nyquil could do something like that to you! Thank goodness she is ok.

Wow. Im glad she's ok. i heart solange. i want everything in her wardrobe. she is the best dressed starlet and t.o.n.y. is a wicked good song. Its easy to take overdoses, because you take one pill and you still feel bad because it hasnt kicked in and you convince yourself that it isnt working so you take more. I think im immune to Tylenol I take 4 at a time and I swear an hour later im in pain again. other than that i try not to take anything because i dont want to be addicted to pain medication.

Hahaha, i thought i was the only one allergic to that stuff. It makes me hallucinate and totally loopy, and not in any fun way. Poor thing, it's so scary when you have a bad reaction to anything most people would consider perfectly safe.

Haha, me too. Instead of putting me to sleep I stay up all night hallucinating and feeling really horrible. I would never take cold medicine again no matter how bad things get. =^_^=

hospital from nyquil?
regular people don't go to the hospital from "exhaustion" or "for a cold" or "nyquil overdose". rich famous people who fly first class they get rhynoplasty, or liposuction or abortions or drug rehab.
and she woke up in the hospital with 8 people standing around her and she still continued to BLOG. why don't i believe this story AT ALL?
While I agree that most "regular" people do not get hospitalized for exhaustion, for a cold, or nyquil... unfortunately, the hospital probably feels they are more closely monitored? Or, the staff is star struck? Ugh! That is awful I must admit. However - with Nyquil, etc... I too can't take it, nor can my daughter. I feel like I am dying and get all panicky! I mentioned it to my doctor who stated that can happen with many people! The last time I took it I thought I was having a heart attack - THAT is how bad it was. Just be careful before taking it...

American Airlines now allows internet access on some flights. A few other airlines do also but I cant think of the names at the moment :) As for Twitter...I checked it out a few times and I really don't see the point. It's a "status" website....so if you have Facebook or Myspace....you know the status feature "Annie is......" that's all Twitter is. I guess if you have a mobile phone and want to update your status every 10 minutes it would be great....frankly I dont feel I am that important to update my status all the time. heh heh heh***annie***

So many things wrong with this PUBLICITY STUNT~!...she was only "hospitalized" to take everyone's focus off of the peek a boob incident!!!...besides...if ure feeling dizzy, passing out and what not....WHO THE HELL IN THEIR RIGHT MIND can focus long enough to TWITTER the ENTIRE ORDEAL...this is nothing more than another Matthew Knowles' Gimmicks!...girl bye!
