Twitter allows you to make quick updates to your friends/people that follow you. Think of it as updating your facebook or myspace status. You can update it from your phone easily too.
A typical update would be something like "dragonfly311(me) going to the mall with Amelia hoping to find some great deals."
For me it is a way to quickly update friends/family/followers with what i'm doing, what my daughter is up to, etc.
Try it, you might love it!

it isn't shia. im really good friends with him. and if you watch updates he and megan have confirmed the rumors are not true. megan and shia dont have any type of social networking pages of any sort. they are professionals who dont need this type of media. dont always believe the hype. people who do this never get anywhere.

I have friends I see face to face and I have better things to do than check what other people do all day long (or tell them what I do). I read. I cook. I go out. I watch TV. I listen to music. I do other things that you don't need to know about.

If anyone likes SYTYCD and choreographer Adam Shankman, he announced that he is on twitter last night. His account is Adammshankman. From his account, you can follow Philip Cheebib (sp??) and some of the other choreographers and judges. Is it Little C? That doesn't sound right, but he's the cool judge that says "now that was buck". Love him. He's on twitter too.
