Video Clips From The Oscars - No It Will Not End Today

It is what it is. The day after the big event. Please excuse me in advance, but there are people out there that did not see the show or are looking to see the show again.

ONTD had a TON of videos this morning, so I am just going to give them credit and post away.

  • Ben Stiller making fun of Joaquin Phoenix.
  • Sean Penn's acceptance speech
  • Hugh Jackman's opening performance
  • Hugh Jackman's musical number

If you watched last night, did you enjoy the show? What was your favorite part? Any surprises?

My friend said to me, I guess I would think Stiller is a lot funnier with this if I knew who he was trying to be. I didn't know anyone didn't! I felt bad for Mickey Rourke, I saw him shaking when they were doing his category, I think he really thought he was going to win. I am happy for Sean Penn, but I felt badly for Mickey. The whole losing your dog the same week. I wonder if he will focus on all the awards he got leading up to this, or if it will just be about losing oscar.

I loved watching last night! My favorite part was honestly probably seeing all the fashion that the ladies brought with them. Natalie Portman, Kate Winslet and Amy Adams were my favorites- they all looked AMAZING!

IIIIII WASSSSSSSS SSSSHOCKED!!! I'm sorry for those of you that really love Sean Penn he really hasn't shown great and compelling acting chops in most of his movies. his films are ground breaking in the casting and the stories ,but just don't sale me on his acting performance. Robert Downing jr.'s character said it best ( I know it was a line in a movie from "Tropic Thunder"), about each A-lister movie star that lost the Oscar for going TOOOOOO far with the acting to achieve a type of range of greatness in their acting. EXP. the movie mentioned were Sean plays a mentally handicap man in "I am Sam" good god that was the same performance i felt in "Milk", too loopy over dramatized. HE OVER DOES IT. HE SOUND WEIRD AND MENTAL OR JUST LOOPY . TRULY , SEAN PENN's acting reminds me of a over the top Queen. He was trying to be tooooo gay. I was more compelled by Mickey R. He is a F**King bast**d for what he has done to others ( his poor gorgeous wife) and his craft but his acting was Spot freaken on.in the "Wrester". I knew he lost it when i heard that one line " Welcome back" IT WAS LIKE THE WERE SAYING TO MICKEY R.YOUR BACK IN SO LET'S SEE WHAT YOU HAVE GOT ( we need more for you buddy before we give you anything more. your not getting over that easy. YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING ELSE AND EARN THE REST. "POLITICS") and we are giving you another shot but you'll have to prove yourself. Hey my son you'll have to do more to convince us your really serious , But "welcome back". But No one prepared me for Sean Penn my mouth hanging open waiting for a fly to fly in from the shock. a movie and a person acting should make you do all three things LAUGH , CRY, DEEPLY THINK that is poor range in captivation of a performance. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! any one for their performance but for his in "Milk"

Okay. So, I know Joaquin Phoenix may be completely nuts--like, Britney-Spears-lets-go-shave-out-heads-and-beat-up-a-van-with-an-umbrella-ella-ella crazy--but, oh jeez, I laughed so, so, so hard when Ben came out. I mean, I'll probably feel bad later, especially if Joaquin(sp) dies like River did, but for now, I thought it was great. The entire audience was laughing, so that may not make it right, but it made it a great moment.

Ben Stiller was hilarious. He just walks off to look at the screens... Ha! I wonder what Joaquin thought of it.

So I like how they panned to Robin Wright Penn about 80 times but it never occurred to Sean Penn to thank his wife. Total jerk or just forgetful? Not sure.
