Did Diane Kruger Have A Nose Job?

Did Diane Kruger Have A Nose Job?

No.

During Fashion Week, Diane Kruger was spotted with some bruises under her eyes sparking rumors that she had a nose job. The actress wore dark sunglasses to the Tommy Hilfiger runway show and the press went wild.

Not that exciting...

Turns out that Diane had laser eye surgery the day before.

"The truth is she had laser eye surgery the day before."

I didn't realize you bruised from that procedure! I wouldn't be able to do it either way, although I know several people who are very happy with their results.

You don't get bruising on the skin from laser eye surgery - LIAR - you get small bruises (called "hickies") on the whites of your eyes.

Actually, you do get bruising under your eyes from the device that holds your eyes open during the procedure. I have had many co-workers come into work looking like they've been in a prize fight, but it was due to laser eye surgery.

I just had laser eye surgery on Friday and definitely didn't get a bruise - they use fancy tape to hold your eye open and the device that holds them open went inside my eyelids, leaving the "hickies" on my eye. The only thing I had on the outside of my eye was from the marker they used to indicate which went first. So unless she got something other than standard lasik, there shouldnt have been bruising.

Hmm... her nose doesn't appear to be different, but I guess if the surgery just happened it might be a little swollen. Guess we'll have to keep an eye on her. ;) For the record, I love Diane Kruger and think she's absolutely beautiful, and yes, I'm jealous that she's with Josh.

About lasik... yikes. I don't think I could stand to have my eyes pried open whilst watching a laser come at them! Contacts are a pain and I can't wear eyeglasses, but I'm just too chicken for the procedure! Anyone want to convince me it's not that bad??

Oh man I'll convince you - like I said just had it done last Friday at 2:30 in the afternoon and it's AMAZING. It didn't hurt nearly at all, and when it did a little I just went to sleep. By Saturday morning I could drive and tested 20/20 in both eyes with no help. Today (4 days later) my eyes feel a little dry, but they gave me so many drops to keep them hydrated it doesn't really bother me much. It's so so so cool to be able to go to bed and see, and wake up in the morning and see - and just everything! You should definitely do it!

WHY would she get a nosejob? She has like the perfect little nose!
It's not always plastic surgery people.. It probably IS just eye surgery.

I had laser eye surgery last May. There is no way that the procedure could give her bruising around the eye as there is nothing around your eye to keep it open besides strong tape. The only bruising that could come from the surgery is on the eye itself due to the suction ring they use. And to Lara Jane, Lasik was THE best thing I have ever done for myself! It is pretty pricey, but you can't put a pricetag on seeing clearly without contacts or eyeglasses. It's honestly very liberating and finally I can live without the hassle of contacts and eye infections and all the things that go with it. The procedure itself is not that bad, it lasts for maybe a minute! By the evening of the same day, I could see clearly and at my check up the next morning I was already at 20/20 vision!

Well, all I know is that my co-worker came back with bruises under her eyes, so it can happen.

Maybe your coworker got a nose job, or eye "tuck", or brow lift....but it certainly wasn't from Laser surgery.

...or maybe her spouse "Chris Brown'd" her

Everybody reacts differently to surgery. So, just because the majority of people don't have a reaction, doesn't mean that people can't.

Having said that, fashion reporters who saw her without her glasses on, said that she seemed to have a red spot on her eye. They thought it was like a burst blood vessel. To say this, they must have seen her up close and they did not mention anything about bruising.

So, I guess the laser surgery would fit. Some people report having a red spot on their eye for awhile after the surgery is done.

Also, in the photos with her glasses off, she seems to have a red eye.

Normally you don't hear from Diane's publicist, so the fact that they corrected these claims very quickly says something. As always , they were trying to make something out of nothing.
