But, thanks to INO reader PoetStar, I’ve just found out that Jessica Simpson may have fired her band. Rumor has it she wants to take some time off from music.
Source is radio so I’m searching the internet right now to see if this is true! I’ll update when I have more info.

When I read that on Lainey Gossip I was jumping up and down with joy. No more Jessica Simpson!! Yippeeeeeeeeeee!!! Lainey suggested she should stick to doing the reality tv thing. It’s what she’s best at.
Geez I really hope so! She and her sister really aren’t that good when it comes to music.
A break would probably be good for her.

Does that mean she bailed on Rascal Flatts? not that I mind, Darius Rucker is taking her spot, but randomly taking a year off looks weird. If she is pregnant, cowboys fans have one more thing to look forward to! Bet they’re THRILLED with that idea!
Taking a break from music? Does it really qualify as taking a break if no one pays attention when you release an album and you play at state fairs and chili cook-offs?

I hope this is true!!! She made a joke out of country music with all her drama. People get tired of drama queens and tabloid celebrities. She needs to stick to selling clothes and no I would not watch her in another reality TV show! To bad the Dallas Cowboy fans don’t like her either. She can really do a job on Tony now that she will have all kinds of time on her hands, maybe she can get him run out of town????
why on earth would she do that when she should be promoting her album touring and trying to make a place for herself in country??….is she giving up already since she has been givin the cold shoulder by country, she wasn’t even nominated for favorite new artist, yet julianne was and they came out at the same time she wasnt invited to the cma’s… she really is done and if she comes back i think that it will be very hard for her to be taken seriously now is the time to work hard and due your time in country…big big mistake on jessica’s part all because of a man or because shes preggers…either way this looks bad for her
i hope she is done .. she finally realized she cant compete with any of the country girls who really do have talent to succeed in the business. i guess, “no talented girls do eat meat” and “real girls are on top of the charts”…hmmm….her biggest obstacle was and is carrie in so many levels…she can have tony…eww while carrie gets to have the country goodies!!

I hope the clothing line dumps her and picks a new celebrity spokesperson. I want her to disappear completely…not even do ads anymore. Maybe her dad can go back to being a minister and get her a job answering phones at his church.
You people leave her alone, shes a beautiful young lady and she is still a GREAT singer. Why cant you people find something important to talk about? Rather than bashing down the people who are better than you, does it make you feel like a better person? she’s been having a hard time with the press so I understand her need to take a break. it’s healthy to get away from it all. maybe she’ll move away back down south again. good to go home every now and then.

she should have taken a break from music a loooooooooong time ago. Her ‘music’ leaves much to be desired. Just be with tony, slap your name on some cute shoes, and i’ll be happy!
I think jessica has an amazingly powerful voice, and if she is taking a break – good for her, I hope she enjoys her leisure time

There were also rumors about her starting a new “healthy women” clothing line and maybe endorsing some weight loss stuff, but I have a hard time believing the weight loss endorsement stuff. I think a year off would do her some good and then she comes back better than ever.. It has worked for others in the industry. Or maybe just maybe – she pregnant????
