Lindsay Price has just been cast in an ABC pilot called Eastwick, which is based on 1987 movie, The Witches of Eastwick.Get it?Bewitched, being cast as a witch… okay, please try not to groan too loudly 
The Warner Bros.-produced ‘Eastwick’ follows three young witches
who come into their powers.Price will play one of them,
Joanna, a hardworking, shy reporter for the local newspaper."
Now, I won’t sugarcoat it for you Lipstick Jungle fans; this doesn’t look good for Lipstick Jungle’s odds of continuing.However, Lindsay’s casting is in "second position," according to the Hollywood Reporter, which means that she can only star in the show once Lipstick Jungle is formally cancelled.
Odds are, the producers wouldn’t have cast Lindsay if they didn’t think there was a good chance the show would be cancelled, but there’s still a (slim) chance.One thing I will miss about Lindsay from Jungle were her character’s clothes!
But what do you think: would you rather see Lindsay in Eastwick or Jungle?

No offense but I don’t understand why people are still hoping “Lipstick” is coming back. Maybe it’s because Brooke Shields is in denile and keeps saying they are still working it out. I thought it was obvious that it’s not since they only filmed half a season and there’s no plan to film the remaining season. I think if another network wanted the show it probably would have happened by now. I was kind of hoping that NBC would bring the show to USA since they did it with another NBC show but I guess not. The viewership hovers around the 5 million mark. That’s too low for a major network.
NO ONE IS TRULY BACKING THE JUNGLE QUEENS. This is why it is in limbo. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LOOOOOOOOVE THAT SHOW. I DON’T WANT IT TO GO, BUT the new show sounds fun toooo. LET THEM HAVE THEIR CAKE AND EAT IT TOO. Be the mom with the job. She can have more then one. Mom and office. HENCE – two jobs: Lipstick Jungle (Mothers work) and Witches of Eastwick (office work). We all know the mom always looks out for the family first. they are always more important. here’s to the gods hearing our preys on this one too. I love Lipstick Jungle! I think season 2 was a huge improvement on season 1. I think it has lots of potential to be even better. Shame it looks like it truly is on the way out. losethatgirl blog
