Who Did Penelope Cruz Sleep With The Night Of The Oscars?

Once the award show ends, viewers tend to let it all go. We know what the ladies wore, we know who won what award and then we go back to our normal lives. Winning actors and actresses, on the other hand,  get to go home and soak it all in.

What do each of them do the minute their door closes and no one is watching?

Penelope Cruz opened up about her experience:

"When they gave it to me I could not stop crying for 20 minutes. I could not look at it - is it for real, or one of those things my friends gave me or something?

This morning I woke up with the same feeling. But I had put the Oscar in my bed, on the other pillow, I looked - and it was there!"

She slept with her Oscar - how cute is that?! So many times we hear actors say they don't even know where their statues ARE. It's refreshing to hear Penelope say she was really excited about the win.

I would be the same way! Like Kate Winslet said, I've been practicing my Oscar speech since I was a kid (just like her, in front of the bathroom mirror with a shampoo bottle)... I probably wouldn't let it out of my sight for awhile, just to make sure it was real.

ks, that comment was pretty rude.

Diablo Cody slept with her Oscar last year also. Posted a pic on her myspace. It is good to see people really appreciate how appreciated they are. right?

I thought she was off to the wedding chapel after the oscars. Pretty dress, but it looks too much like a wedding dress. I also like how Penelope and Kate seem humbled by their win and are appreciative. I was reading that years ago when Meryl Streep won hers, she forgot she left it on the back of a public toilet and it was stolen.

She is a great actress and finally they gave her the recognition she deserves!

Why is her accent sooo strong, I don't get it!! After all those years it should be possible to get rid of this spanish pronouncation. Language is her work material!

Why does everyone thing the Oscars are awarded on talent all the time? They're not. Sometimes it's because a person is well liked, sometimes because they're "due" as in Kate Winslett's case because The Reader is one her weakest performances and sometimes it's because they ARE the best.

The Oscars are overrated & probably fixed. I dont think they are as relevant or special as they used to be, it all boils down to luck these days rather than talent...No matter how humble or modest actors may seem they are all drama queens & ego driven.
