Did you know that The Hills' Jason Wahler was engaged to Katja Decker Sadowski?  Well, if not, then you aren't too far out of the loop, because he isn't engaged anymore. 

'I have decided to end my engagement, and it's an amicable split," the Hills star, 22, tells Usmagazine.com"

The reason?

'We agreed we are both just too young to be considering getting married right now,' he added."

Jason is 22 and Katja is 21, according to Us Weekly.  Good for them for realizing that marriage wasn't right for them and calling it off rather than get swept up in all the expectations that come from being engaged and planning a big wedding!

However, Jason may have a professional reason for the split.  He's reportedly shopping around a dating reality show called Jason and the Cougars.

Well, either way, these situations have a way of working out for the best.  They each have plenty of time to find the right person!
