Paula Abdul Is Looking For Love - Any Takers?

Now that Paula Abdul is pain and pill free, she is looking for a companion to share her life with. The American Idol judge has been married twice (Emilio Estevez and Brad Beckerman) before and isn't necessarily looking to tie the knot. She just wants someone to love and to love her in return.
"I tried marriage and it didn’t work too well for me, but I would very much like to find a soulmate. I look at couples like Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell and see what I would like to have: a beautiful lasting relationship that doesn’t require a piece of paper. I’d love to have children with that soulmate. Adoption is definitely an option."
Paula is 46 years old and just starting to live again. I am so happy for her!

Rumors of Kurt and Goldie not having a faithful relationship have been around for years. So I don't think these 2 would be my inspiration for a relationship. They have been together a long time, but if you aren't faithful then the longevity of the relationship is not exactly awe inspiring. Now I don't know about Susan Sarandan and Tim Robbins. I haven't heard anything negative about them.
First of all she needs to give up the idea of "soutlmate"; that doesn't exist. Sorry for all you dreamers out there, but you have to be realistic. As for her finding a good man? that one is hard too, men are either married and cheat, married and would never cheat on their wives(THE GOOD ONES ARE ALWAYS TAKEN), in jail, gay or "on the DL", pedophiles, wife beaters, serial killers, drug addicts, liars, sexual fiends. Is not easy finding a good one, but they are out there somewhere. Good luck Paula....

Geeze. Such optimism. Nobody is perfect, men have issues with finding the right one too you know! I'm not a man, but I'm just assuming that they have issues. I don't like how you are laying all the blame on men, as if women do not have any flaws. As if women and men are two entirely different species. I am sure that the majority of men in this world are good people.
Anyways...I wish Paula all the best of luck! I love her, and I truly think that she deserves a good man in her life!

Can couples that don't have that "peice of paper" adopt together? I thought only Angelina was the legal adoptive parent because her and Brad aren't married and could not adopt as a couple. So I thought Brad was not legally an adoptive parent. I know he added his name to their names but I didn't think he could adopt them. I thought Angie said that in an interview.

I never believed in soulmates, then I looked at my parents & realized I have been living with a set of soulmates all along! Then I met my husband & we both believe we are soulmates. It may sound silly & overly romantic & delusional & corny but I think its something very special & it does exist. I hope Paula finds what she is looking for...I hope things get better for you too Gee Gee.
I believe it excist as well, now the problem is finding them in this big ole crowded world we live in. But Yep, they are out there

If you aren't married and want to adopt, the Mom would adopt first, and then after that adoption is legalized than the Dad can adopt. Just like a step-dad can adopt a child if the birth dad relinquishes his parental rights.
A lot of countries won't let a newly married couple adopt. Most say 3-5 years married before adoption, which is probably the real reason Paula doesn't want to get married and why Angelina and Brad don't marry.
I've heard rumors Kurt & Goldie have an open marriage. I believe in soul mates. I just don't necessarily think they last forever. It's like a wave, ride it til it crashes. If it never crashes, all the better.
i love paula abdul so much i think she should find someone that will truly give her the love that she deserves and 4 her to give love back im so happy to hear she is finally doing better! im happy she'll adopt (wish she'd adopt me :)] and hoping she finds that special someone (saula fans would love her to be with simon he is wonderful and will treat her right) and i hope one day my dream will come true and ill finally be able to meet her! For years I have longed to share my heart to Paula. For years you have those thoughts of being with someone that it just makes it so hard to approach her and tell her straight. The last time I saw her I just stood in front of her and could not say anything. Crazy, but true. When I see her smile, it has always made me tingle.
