Attention All "Bones" Fans!

Attention All "Bones" Fans!

Are you a fan of Bones?  If you are, then I don't have to tell you about the four seasons we viewers have been waiting to see if Booth and Brennan take their partnership to a more... intimate level.

Well, as David Boreanaz (Booth) and Emily Deschanel  (Brennan, a.k.a. Bones) revealed to TV Guide magazine exclusively, our patience will be rewarded.  Emily was open about the risks to a show when a long-standing attraction is finally acted upon.

It’s
dangerous when you get two characters together – a lot of shows fizzle
out when that happens - but then the audience really wants it...Once they get together their relationship will only be stronger."

David focused on the importance of how Booth and Brennan finally end up together.

..the
show revolves around how much they care for each other in tender and loving
ways…this next step is going to be fantastic. Everyone is so
high on 'Will they or won’t they get in bed together?' and
they will, but how it’s going to be done has to be fulfilling for the
audience. I assume it will not be your typical sex scene with headboard
pounding."

However, the co-stars may not be in complete agreement on how naked they'll be.

David: 'I hate
it when two people are going at it and they turn over and suddenly
they’re covered up in blankets. I’m all in. I am not going to be
wearing a sack.'

Emily: 'What?
This is the first I’ve heard of it' "

That should be an interesting discussion with the shows' writers ;

Okay, Bones fans: are you ready for them to get together already or would you rather they maintain the status quo?

I'm ready! Yay. But i have to agree, sometimes when couples get together kinda ruins some shows, but yet we always wait for that.

Are you kidding?! If any two need to 'go there', it is these two. Their chemistry surpasses the simple will they/won't they? debate. Imo, they'll be even more fun and more sexy after they start sleeping together and continue building their relationship to all their inevitabilities. These two could be fun just reading a phone book in a room together. I can't imagine how great they'll be trying to be a real couple! Fabulous move for the series! Fabulous move for the characters and their relationship!

It's been done, remember Moonlighting? with Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard. Same thing, will they or wont they. After they finally did, the show fizzled out. Is been done before, nothing new. I don't watch the show so I don't care either way.

I just started watching the show and have been jumping around between seasons on Hulu. I'm now a total fan. But it's been kind of refreshing to have them not be a couple. Sexual tension can start to feel like a writer's ploy but I think the show will lose a lot if and when they make them an item in any way.

I'm kinda torn.

I like the idea of them *finally* getting together ... but I also like the dynamic of them not together but obviously into one another.

If they do hook up - I hope the writers are able to keep that dynamic.

They can't keep this attraction-that-is-never-acted-on going on forever. I mean, c'mon. They're either gonna have to put them together or get new love interests for both of them.

Of course, it's time for them to get together. They are sweet, funny and adorable and they truly care for each other as actors and characters.

Their special friendship sparks up the screen and gives us special moments and looks that touch our hearts.

Four years is long enough. They've established the love. We can't wait any longer for some onscreen passion.

Too much tension gets to be unbearable. We need cathartic release.

It's going to be great fun and I am looking forward to it. I'm sure the writers will give us great scripts even after the hookup.

Of course we're ready. For crying out loud, Emily and David have enough chemistry alone and there's no way they'll get together. B&B, though??? If they get together, no matter what, they'll keep things freaking hot. I can't wait. This is going to be awesome.

True Bones fans are ready for this. Think of all the storylines and sexual politics between these characters. These actors will make it both funny and romantic.

They have to hook up! We have waited too long and if they don't it will be very frustrating. Four years of building up their love is enough, now we want the real thing. What is wrong with two people being in love on TV? DB and ED have great chemistry and they will be able to keep it going.

I also feel the same, great characters, they gotta get together!!! I also have been a faithful viewer and there completely different personalities were meant to be together, even if only for an episode.

IT is SO time for this!!! Bones fans are loyal fans and have waited four years for this. Moonlighting was nothing like Bones. Bones is witty, creative, and there are many major differences as to why Moonlighting failed far more that the will they/won't they.
Bones has rock star writers who have every ability to write some amazing, funny and sexy stuff to keep us and Bones and Booth on their toes and totally into each other. It will be fun to watch and will only make the show that much better. It is only when shows aren't true to the characters that they fail...BandB belong together, besides that Bruce Willis and Cybil Shepard had other interests, didn't get along and the show was doomed, but not necessarily bc of the "finally getting together."
The Bones writers are better than that and Emily and David obviously have a great working relationship and top notch couple chemistry.

If they do it right, it can work. I'm sick of characters who get together at the end of a series...B&B can still have that back and forth banter ..and for the most part she will still be bones and he will be booth.

I'm ready for David Boreanz nudity, definitely!

Absolutely ready for this. The show has been building up to this for so long. I don't expect the relationship will be a jump-the-shark moment, though. There are so many possibilities for growth and exploration in their relationship together given their vastly different views on life, priorities, feelings, marriage, children, etc. I am very interested to see how their connection plays out as they grow even closer.

It's definitely time for Booth and Brennan! The writers for this show are amazing - I doubt this will be just another cliched roll in the hay, and I trust them not to kill the show afterwards. In fact I think it'll only get better, as this will add another dimension to the relationships for them to play with.

Woo! It's about time Bones - get some!

I watched like 1 episode of the first season of this show and could already see these two were going to get together. It took FOUR SEASONS? Boring.

I truly think that these two characters can work together and still have an awesome show! I can't wait! I can't wait!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

I'm on the fence about this one. In some ways I really want them to get together, but in other ways, I don't, because they're right...often it kills the onscreen chemistry between the actors. I know David has been fighting for them NOT to get together for several seasons now. I'd only get them togethre if they new it was their last season.

I do love this show and have been a fan of David B. for years now.

I know stuff like this can kill shows, and I'm pretty worried, but I hope B/B will be able to pull it off. I don't watch Bones for the UST, I watch it because the two brilliant, good-looking, and frustratingly blind main characters are freaking adorable. And what helps their case is that they truly, genuinely love each other, although neither is willing to admit it. As long as they keep arguing over religion, guns, pie, and random silly stuff, while being amazingly caring and sweet to each other, I think a hookup might be a good thing. Four years is a long time. The fans deserve their moment of joy, not to mention Booth and Brennan themselves.

Lucie Lucie said:

I don't think I want them to get together yet. We all enjoy their cute "moments" and "looks." If they finally admit their love for eachother, we may lose those special moments. Yes, we look forward to it but also I believe if they're a couple, it won't seem as special too us. I say wait, and see what happens.
