This is nothing guys…the place I work at has Twilight perfume, Twilight magnets….jewelry, messenger bags….Edward action figures. I am not kidding.
Whats the big deal? There are ads on this site for a merchandise shop where you can buy Twilight shirts for your dog. Isn’t it a bit hypocritical denounce the same thing you do, Vera?

The marketing is no different than for any other movie directed at younger audiences–like Harry Potter, or Dream Works animation, or Pixar movies. You have a run of everything from a video game, to key chains. They figure if you are a fan you will be willing to buy anything and everything bearing the name or a star’s likeness.
I just got this game, and its FUN! I recommend it just as much as I recommend the book! YOU NEED TO BUY IT!

The TWILIGHT GAME, could be a top 5 board game of all time! If you have seen the movie you will LOVE IT. if you have read the books you will LOVE IT.

OMG! Someone needs to be punished for making a board game that will make the company a lot of money! When a movie is so successful, people don’t stop with the film. They go the whole nine yards. Toys, t-shirts, videogames, board games, etc. This is not the first time something like this has happened as a result of the success of a movie, and it is definitely not the last. Maybe you are just noticing it for the first time because you seem to be obsessed with Twilight. I’m sorry I’m being so b!tchy.

This just makes me sad. They’re milking this series for everything and beyond its worth…
The thing is – they KNOW it will sell. While we may think it’s ridiculous (I’m in that boat with ya’ll), they are a business and it would be foolish of them NOT to capitalize on every inch they can.
