Sherri Shepard, from The View, has been very public about some of the painful things that have happened to her in the past. But, she’s moving forward and having the last laugh. Now, moments from her history will be turned into a sitcom!
Lifetime has ordered a pilot for an as-yet-untitled comedy loosely based on Sherri’s own relationship experiences, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In
the pilot, which was first developed for The CW, Sherri will play a
woman dealing with a wandering husband who lets her husband’s mistress
and child move in with them.
While it does sound funny, knowing that this ACTUALLY happened gives me a different perspective on the show, what about you?

i think it’s wonderful “The View” hired a mentally challenged person. TRULY BY SAYING THIS I’M NOT BEING FUNNY OR VINDICTIVE ; it just the truth. now a days Sherri seems to have a flow to her speech pattern and when to jump into the group discussions ,at the right time ; given the true nature of this over talkative group. their just a POWERFULLY OUTSPOKEN CAST OF NOBODIES ( I ADORED LISA LING, that b1tch ROCKED) dominating all the topics. but, if your paying attention show feeds that THWAT (sherri) ALL THE LANGUAGE that is needed to keep up with the , now VERY ANNOYING “UNCLE TOM ” WHOOPI ( she really showed her true colors on this show. She only wanted to be bother with anything associated with the OSCAR because she finally realized she was some kinda of A-list herself….What, behappyif anything YOUR ASS “WON’” AN OSCAR. she acts like people should be loving her YOUNG MANISH FACE and suck-up persona. pls. like she was GOD OR SOMETHING. THROWING A SMUG ATTITUDE LIKE, ” THESE WHITE FOLKS LOVE ME ( Playing up to Barbara ( old feeble ass, and DENSE) Walters like she was her mamee …..pls. , and to add insult to injury , how many times can you here a person say they’ll do anything if you pay them. WTF. And don’t get me started on Elizabeth ….. smart girl, but TRULY LOST IN HER VALUES in what is right in the world. She seemed BRAIN-WASHED. her beliefs seem more like DISTRESS CALLS that no one is paying attention to; now Joy …. joy, she is a pest as well, but you would understand her better if you were a New Yorker, it’s our culture to be just outspoken. but Sherri, that dim wit would try to cash a check with no signature; and that idiot would suck off a donkey in a side show in Mexico, if you told her she would get a pretty shinny prize for it. Sherri isn’t a thinker (she that little kid you felt bad for when you saw she had but the right shoe on her left foot ,and vice verse for the others shoe and tied those bad boys together. so truly, god has blessed her with this job. The show likes her because they can control her; she gets her information and constructed conversation told to her on that show, through an ear piece; Whoopi points it out all the time, about them asking her to “WRAP THINGS UP FOR A COMMERCIAL” Sherri too is being feed details. really , those women wouldn’t truly let her run her mouth off if this sh1t wasn’t plotted and staged. let her make her money WE KNOW AND SHE KNOWS ….. SHE A TRAINED CIRCUS ANIMAL.

Yeah Lisa Ling was the 1st and last shred of intelligence on that show, loved her – but she moved on to projects of actual importance like Nat Geo & documentries about children in international sex trade. I agree w/ Bill Getty the blogger, the real one is the brains behind Elizabeth, if you could call it that. They’re both incredibly painful. I don’t believe Elizabeth has a soul. Although I disagree w/ BG the blogger’s bit about Whoopie, she’s ok. In fact she’s the only bearable one. Joy only gives NYers a bad name, as someone who loves the outspokeness of NYers this woman’s mouth should be permanently sewn shut, what a horse’s ass that one is. Soooooo, not funny. Barbara, once considered an actual journalist who had the prestige of interviewing world leaders and the like has gone on to show her true colors as a ridiculous, cheap sideshow hag. Oh and the tawdry book, at her age – just pathetic. Finally, Sherri is definitely a moron. Though I still can’t figure out whether she’s married, divorced or separated. Either way I feel for her child – the confusion of whether the world is flat was simply frightening.
Oh Lord, she gets on my nerves big time. I used to like her when she was on “Less than Perfect” with Sarah Rue, but now that she’s on The View, I cringe everytime she speaks. ***annie***

Interesting concept..happened to me too. So I don’t think it is that far fetched, sometimes being nice leads to crazy decision making. =) So I will pretend they are talking about my life and I’ll spend all that money in my head. The problem with starting off that nice – it eventually leads to angry, highly opinionated people who express themselves boldly and cannot figure out why they are so pissed at the world…..but I digress…
