I loved twilight even though it was a low budget movie with horrible graphics and although it didnt follow the book concisely and deviated slightly from the characters true personalities in my opinion the essece of the book was apparent, with that being said i am soooo glad that scene was deleted from the movie not only did it not happen in the book but had that scene taken place movies 2,3,and 4 could not be.....hellooo am i delusional or would such an occurance have made Bella a vampire or did i miss something???? Please enlighten me!!

They should've put that little scene in the movie...it was great! I love the movie but that was one of the things that was missing for me, more one-on-one Bella and Edward scenes with talking and physical interactions instead of just the ones in the montage. And PardyHardy, he didn't fall, he did that on purpose.
Exactly what i was thinking, me personally loved that movie cant wait for New Moon to came out ;-)!

So that's what my CHEMISTRY professor tried so hard to teach us! They should've just put Rob and Kristen together and let them look into each other's eyes - we would've all gotten A+++! They're BEAUTIFUL TOGETHER!

I'm sorry I just don't see what everyone is flipping out about- I thought that scene was ridiculous- the acting was terrible and awkward. I was going to watch it again to see if I could spot this apparently insane chemistry that I missed the first time- but I just couldn't bear to watch it again! I haven't seen the movie and judging from that bit I don't want to

that was such a cute scene they should have totally put it in!!!!!and that is the chemistry that is missing between them in the actual film!!
she says "you really want a taste?" ... i know, i had to watch it like 5 times before i could make it out lol ... and all the haters are allowed their opinions too, but i definitely see the natural chemistry between them, i'm stoked for the dvd release, yay extras!

They have good chemistry, but acting they cannot. Ridiculously cheesy dialogues also don't help.
HOLY F*CK that was outta-this-world hot! i understand why it wasn't in the movie though- that "dimension" of intimacy wouldn't have fit with the final movie (although this direction would have been nice...)
That's severely creepy...it's perposterous how much Catherine Hardwicke got wrong - like at the end, when Victoria was watching Bella and Edward dance; if Edward can read minds, wouldn't he have heard Victoria's? And in this scene it looks like Edward had bit her a little bit - book Edward would have never done that, he would have been afraid of hurting her (which he did in this scene, apparently.) At Jake, at the end, when he was talking to Bella at prom, he was acting as if he was in on some big secret Bella wasn't, as if he totally knew that Edward and his family were vampires - which he doesn't until he becomes a werewolf in New Moon. And I'm not thrilled with their new director, either - Chris Wietz. He's the guy who produced porn-in-the-theatre movies like American Pie. Twilight the book itself is rubbish compared to classics like Harry Potter, and to Kill a Mockingbird, and Shakespere, and the Bronte Sisters. Nobody thought, "You know, Twilight seems like a book I want to read to my children someday." No. Just no. The only thing people think when reading Twilight is "OMG Edward Cullen is SOOO HOT!" The characters are flat, the plot is lazily written and predictable, and Stephenie Meyer is a very weak writer. She was afraid of writing a fight scene at the end of Breaking Dawn, because she knew she would have to kill off one of her beloved Vampies. Grow up, Meyer! Overall Twilight was an epic fail for me. The fan-girly squealing obsessors might argue otherwise, but the Twilight Saga and movie is just utter garbage.

Im glad this scene wasnt in the movie its just weird and in a completely different direction to where the rest of the film went. Edward would never let her put her finger in his mouth he could hardly touch her when they first met and even after they got closer and when he kissed her he had 2 pull away after a few seconds. When she stuck her finger in his mouth and he started biting her he would have found it too hard to stop and probably would have ended up killing her!

yeahhhh despite whether or not the characters would do that... i feel like kristen stewart never actually acts.. shes pretty bland and i know shes supposed to be just a 'normal' girl or whatever but she delivers lines like shes reading them for the first time.

Catherine Hardwicke is very stupid to even think this is a good scene. has she even read the books? Edwards character is so protective of bella he wont even let her do that stuff in eclipse. It was silly. But in the movie they should have talked more about edwards family , the information they give out is limated. i watched the movie first, then read the book. the movie is terrible compared to book. i didnt understand the movie, till i read the books.
also why would bella do that? what was she trying to find? ITS JUST O RANDOM THIS SCENE!
I thought it was great but i'm glad it wasn't in the movie because wouldn't she have been changed right then and there...lol the movie is great i've seen it 4 times and waiting for it to come out in only 5 days woohoo...lol
Why was that scene ever made? Edward would never. . . . . Love the movie even though it fell short a little it could have been better. Kristens acting was kinda akward even for the character she was playing! I hope the next movies is better and even if it doesnt stick to the book entirely. . . that Sh*t better be good! . twilight is a great movie and i cant wait till the others come out. so all those other peple saying that it sucks and it is boring well yall are wrong because this movie is awsome. yall give yall opinion unless yall seen because if yu watch the movie very carfully yu would see that a movie about vampires, warwolfs,and humans have to do with love is a great movie. there isnt many movies like this. that is why it is soo great!!!!!!!! : ) CANT WAIT TILL THE REST COME OUT!!!!!!!!
